QueueGuard is a tool (Lua AddOn + .exe) that ensures you never miss a queue pop while tabbed out.

!!! IMPORTANT !!! You must download the .exe file from my Github for this AddOn to work correctly, or replace the entire folder by the one from my Github reposit

Features:

• In-game AddOn detects Battleground, Arena, and Dungeon queue invites.
• Displays a prominent visual banner, plays an alert sound, and forces background audio settings.
• Companion App (QueueGuardApp.exe) scans the game frame in the background to detect queue invites.
• Automatically un-minimizes WoW, brings it over active apps (e.g., Chrome), and flashes the taskbar icon.
• Slash commands: /qg test (test alerts and focus), /qg toggle (enable/disable), /qg debug (toggle event log).

How to use:

• Make sure the AddOn folder is installed in the Interface/AddOns folder of your game.
• Run AddOns\QueueGuard\CompanionApp.exe (it should open a CMD window)
• Make sure the AddOn is enabled in game. To test it, write /qg test in chat and check the CMD window, it should display a green text confirming the AddOn works.
• /qg to see the other commands
• Enjoy!

• Never miss a queue pop again: You can safely browse the web, watch videos, or work on other tasks while waiting in long LFG or PvP queues.
• Instant notification: The combination of forced background audio, taskbar flashing, and forced window focus brings you right back into the game the second your queue pops.
