QuestWordHunter - Italian Dictionary

First release. 56,853 Italian→English entries built from live World of Warcraft quest text. Requires WordHunterWoW 1.6.0 or newer This is a hard requirement. Earlier versions lowercase only ASCII, so a word beginning with an accented capital never matched a dictionary key and opened a second entry in the word list instead. Italian is the worst-hit language for this: 3,460 occurrences in this corpus, of which È alone accounts for 3,412. With 1.6.0 they resolve. About the quality These entries are raw machine translation. The German pack has had a large share of its entries reviewed by hand against the quest sentence each word appears in; this pack has had none of that. Expect false friends, the wrong sense of an ambiguous word, and official WoW names translated literally. A gloss is a starting point — edit it when it is wrong, and your edit wins over the pack. The one exception is the five one-letter words a, e, i, è and o, which are hand-written in Data/CuratedIT.jsonl. They are far too frequent to leave to a translator working without context: asked for è in isolation, Google answers "and", confusing it with e.
