QuestPosition

Tired of looking at the far left edge of your screen every time you talk to an NPC? QuestPosition moves the quest and gossip windows right next to your character – where your eyes already are.

Everything else keeps the familiar Blizzard look. No heavy skin, no clutter – just a better place for the windows you use all the time.

Features

Right where you need it

• Quest and gossip windows open next to your character instead of at the screen edge
• Position is saved relative to the screen center, so it stays beside your character on any resolution
• Move it freely with Shift + Drag, or set exact X / Y values in the settings
• Lock the position so you can't move it by accident

Compact and scrollable

• Overall size: scale the window and text together
• Window height: make the window shorter – anything that doesn't fit simply scrolls

Get to the rewards faster

Choose what you see first when you open a quest:

• Start at top – Blizzard's default behavior
• Scroll to rewards (default) – jumps straight to objectives and rewards
• Objectives & rewards only – hides the story text completely

Works for accepting, progress and turn-in pages. Your quest log is not affected and still shows the full text.

Border customization

• Border styles: Blizzard (default), Thin (Tooltip), Dialog, Gold, Pixel line, No border
• Border colors: Default, Class color, White, Gold, Red, Blue, Green, Purple, Gray, Black
• Border opacity: from fully visible to completely gone

Easy to configure

• Clean settings menu with sliders and live preview – just talk to an NPC while the menu is open
• Minimap button: left-click opens settings, right-click locks/unlocks the position, drag to move it around the minimap
• Also available via the AddOn compartment (minimap addon list) and Options → AddOns

Languages

English, Deutsch, Français, Español, Русский and 简体中文. Follows your game language automatically, or pick one manually in the settings.

Notes

• Chinese menu text requires a font with Chinese characters. On non-Chinese game clients it may show as boxes – this only affects the addon's own menu, not the quest windows.
