## Quest List Abandon
Tired of manually abandoning quests one by one? Quest List Abandon adds
a small red button next to each zone header in your quest log. One click,
one confirmation, done.
### How It Works
Open your quest log and you'll see the Big Red Button™ next to each zone
header (Silvermoon City, The Voidspire, Voidstorm, etc.). Click it and
you'll get a single confirmation prompt showing exactly how many quests
will be abandoned and which zone they're from. Confirm and they're all
gone instantly.
### Smart Filtering
Not every quest gets abandoned. Quest List Abandon automatically skips:
- ✅ Completed quests (already done, no reason to abandon)
- ✅ Bounty quests (account-wide progress quests)
- ✅ World quests (these can't be abandoned normally anyway)
### Safety First
There is intentionally only ONE confirmation prompt per zone — no
per-quest popups, no spam. The prompt clearly states the number of quests
and the zone name before you commit. Quest abandoning cannot be undone,
so read before you click.
### Slash Commands
- **/qla** or **/questlistabandon** — show available commands
- **/qla help** — list all commands
- **/qla version** — display current version
- **/qla debug** — show detection info for troubleshooting
### Compatibility
- ✅ World of Warcraft: Midnight (Patch 12.0.5)
- ✅ No dependencies — no Ace, no LibStub, nothing extra required
- ✅ Lightweight — no SavedVariables, no memory overhead
### Notes
This addon was built and debugged from the ground up for Midnight's
restructured quest log UI, which changed significantly from previous
expansions. If you were using a similar addon before Midnight and it
stopped working, this one was written specifically for the new frame
structure.
