What's new

Questline 1.1.0

Tested on the WoW Forever live stress test (build 70532) – all quest functions available, no errors.

New

  • New look: Questline gets a complete redesign – rounded tiles and panels, a slim difficulty line instead of the thick side bars, the level as a pill, round mark buttons, toggle switches in the settings, progress bars from colour 1 to colour 2, glossy round quest item buttons, and the world marker, distance tag and arrow in the same style
  • Details without X: click the line on the left of a quest again to close the details
  • With Chatline: the button column next to the tracker moves into Chatline's top bar as a row of tiles

Changed

  • Two layouts instead of three: "Questline" (now always customisable) and "Blizzard". The colour and font options are right below the layout choice; "Default" brings back the original colours. If you used "Custom", your colours and font are kept
  • Font: Expressway is the default if Linemedia is installed (not for Russian, Korean and Chinese clients)
  • Background colour now tints all tiles, panels and buttons; "Background & borders" also controls their opacity
  • Blizzard layout: the quest item and quest enemy buttons now use a bronze frame (gold when usable), and the ED logo is gold
  • Header: the quest count next to the zone is gone – in a group the header only shows how many members use Questline
  • Finished objectives and quests no longer show a full progress bar – the tick, dimmed text and "DONE" say it already. "Progress display" colours these hints

Fixed

  • Segmented progress bars: in the Blizzard layout the dividers are now snapped to whole screen pixels, so all segments look equally wide. The Questline layout shows smooth bars (the count is right next to them)
  • Quest enemy button: with many enemy names the button sometimes posted "/c" in /say. The macro was longer than WoW allows and got cut off – now only as many names as fit are used

Quest data comes from QuestieDB – a huge thank you to the Questie team for their amazing work!

Thanks for all the feedback – keep it coming!
