Questline-1.0.15.zip
What's new
Questline 1.0.15
New
- Quest-starting items: when you loot an item that starts a quest ("This Item Begins a Quest"), Questline now tells you – big notice plus a chat line with the quest name and, if needed, the required level (e.g. Silvia's Sword). Items still in your bags are announced again after logging in or /reload
- Start quests with one click (requested here on CurseForge): quest-starting items now also show up in the quest item bar – gold frame with a yellow "!" – and the "Use quest item" key picks them first. The quest is accepted automatically (Settings → Quests → "Auto-accept quests from items", on by default; hold Shift to skip)
- Extra quest button (like in Retail): as soon as you're within 30 yards of an objective where you need your quest item – or your target is in range – the item pops up as a big button at the bottom of the screen, with a glow and a sound. Quest-starting items show up there too. Once it's there it stays usable in combat. Shift + drag to move, right-click to hide it for this session, toggle in Settings → Quests → Buttons
Changed
- Profession requirements: quest givers on the map and the quest progress now show when a quest needs a profession. If the profession is missing or your skill is too low, the "!" turns red and the tooltip tells you what's missing, e.g. "Cooking 50 (you: 14)"
Fixed
- XP bar: Blizzard's XP bar no longer flashes up for a moment after /reload
- Money rewards: gold, silver and copper rewards are now shown in quest tooltips and the reward panel
