QuestCompleteOnlySound

QuestCompleteOnlySound is a tiny World of Warcraft addon that plays a custom sound when a quest's objectives are completed.

It does only one thing automatically: when a quest changes from incomplete to complete, it plays QuestComple_Sound.ogg.

Installation

1. Download the addon ZIP.
2. Extract it into your World of Warcraft AddOns folder.
3. Make sure the final folder is named:

QuestCompleteOnlySound

The folder should contain:

QuestCompleteOnlySound.toc
QuestCompleteOnlySound.lua
QuestComple_Sound.ogg

Notes

The sound plays only after the addon has seen a quest go from incomplete to complete. It should not play when accepting a quest.

Available slash commands:

/qcos soundtesting
/qcos help

/qcos soundtesting plays the sound manually so you can test that the OGG file is working.

/qcos help shows the available commands in chat.
