What's new

QuadHeal 0.27.0

QuadHeal has acquired some organisational skills. Your mouse is still allowed to be completely unreasonable.

  • Settings tabs: Spells, Appearance, Profiles, and Check & Performance. The preview stays available beside every tab.
  • More room for spells: the spell area and window grow to fit your bindings when screen space allows, including all 20 in Insane mode. Smaller screens retain scrolling rather than forcing tiny text. Spec Defaults remains directly above the spells.
  • Clear dead-player frames: small spell icons, status indicators and their glows disappear on a dead or ghost player's frame and return after resurrection. Click bindings remain active, including resurrection spells. The Spell Map and settings preview remain available.
  • Practice without casting: toggle Practice in the preview to see what each click does without casting spells, selecting targets or opening menus. Challenge gives you a binding to practise. Live self-casting remains available when Practice is off.
  • Named presets per specialization: keep up to 12 setups, such as Mythic+, Raid and Solo. Create, load, update and delete them outside combat. Presets contain spells, layout and appearance; the main Save/Cancel buttons also commit or restore preset changes.
  • Import exactly what you need: choose Everything, Spells only, Spells + layout, or Appearance only. Review the changes before applying them. Specialization checks and JSON/legacy-code support remain intact.
  • Check my spells: a visible report for unknown or unlearned spells, inactive talents, disabled buttons and hidden areas. Fixed the old slash-command check losing a false 'spell learned' result.
  • Optional performance recording: collect Blizzard addon CPU measurements during your own dungeon or raid session. Includes average/peak CPU, combat samples, group size and overall FPS. Stops automatically after five minutes; the latest report can be copied and survives reloads. No recorder polling while stopped.
  • Updated Help for the new workflow. Protected live bindings still update after combat, and preview clicks pause during combat.

Performance measurements require an actual in-game session. Automated checks use mocked WoW APIs and cannot establish real raid CPU/FPS impact.
