QFX Minimap Tools – Flight-Centered Square Minimap

QFX Minimap Tools 1.0.68

This update focuses on CPU cost, visual consistency, and cleanup, and turns Outdoor Flight Center on by default for new installs.

PERFORMANCE

• Shard display: target/mouseover events are now registered only while the shard display is enabled, and each unit's GUID result is cached so the same creature is never parsed twice in one update.
• Time status icons (calendar, mail, crafting) now use a change signature; mail, calendar, and CVAR events no longer rebuild them when nothing changed.
• Mail events no longer refresh the status icons twice per event.
• Native control skinning no longer computes an unused external border color on every refresh.
• Bottom-row stat text now caches its text, size, visibility, and font state instead of re-applying them on every event.
• Calendar invite "!" and the utility hover tooltips are set up once instead of being recreated on every update.
• Flight Center probing no longer stays at 10 Hz while mounted or moving on the ground; only real transitions (mount, glide, control changes) open the short 10 Hz window, and it drops back to 2 Hz until takeoff.

UI CONSISTENCY

• Calendar, mail, crafting, and tracking indicators now share one native-atlas specification: same 22x22 hit area, same icon size, same hover highlight, and one centralized art table.
• Indicator icon size follows the configured font size so the bottom row stays visually balanced.

CLEANUP

• Removed dead code: legacy custom mail indicator, indicator badge/label helpers, system hover ticker, calendar-bang helper, and leftover ticker/update branches.
• Enabled the previously unused CALENDAR_OPEN locale key and removed remaining unused locals.

DEFAULTS

• Outdoor Flight Center and the gathering-profession check are now enabled by default for new installs.
• Existing SavedVariables keep your saved choice. To enable the new default on an existing profile, use "Reset defaults" or tick the option in Settings.

Compatible with World of Warcraft 12.0.5, 12.0.7, and 12.1.0.
