Overview
You need tons of AddOns to handle:
- Warsong Gulch, Eye of the Storm flag carriers,
- Arathi, Alterac and Isle of Conquest capture timers,
- and much more ?
No need to look elsewhere, because PVPAssist2 has all of these features !
Warnings & Caveats
- This AddOn currently supports only French and English languages.
- The battleground modules will simply not activate if you do not use a supported language.
- Some features are not implemented yet (see below).
Beta Version Features
- Provides all kind of timers for Warsong Gulch, Arathi Bassin, Alterac Valley, Eye of the Storm, Strand of the Ancients and Isle of Conquest:
- The timers can be displayed in a special dedicated frame.
- Or they can be displayed as popups on your tactical map.
- Or both!
- Eye of the Storm and Wintergrasp capture timers are estimated as well, when possible.
- Capture timers can be announced on the battleground chat for Arathi Bassin, Alterac Valley and Isle of Conquest.
- Provides a flag carriers frame, to monitor the players that currently hold the flag(s) in Warsong Gulch and EotS.
- It shows the time left before a flag carrier becomes visible on the map.
- It also shows the time left before flag carriers become vulnerable to attacks!
- Provides a base frame, which shows info about the base you are currently holding.
- Shows allies that are close to you as well.
- You also have a tool to announce incoming enemies in Arathi Bassin, Eye of the Storm and Isle of Conquest.
- Provides a boss frame, which shows info about the boss mobs in the battleground.
- Monitors the health of your team's commander and the enemy commander.
- Can submit health data to other players using PVPAssist2.
- Provides a service to locate other players, even when out of a battleground.
- Tracks down the time elapsed since the beginning of the battleground.
- Tracks down the shutdown timer and preparation timer.
- Gives you the time left till the next Wintergrasp battle while being inside of Vault of Archavon.
- Easy and quick configuration, including an intuitive drag n' drop to set the position of the widgets.
- You can turn ON and OFF the various widgets to fit your needs.
- Automatic activation/deactivation upon entering/leaving the battlegrounds.
- 100% standalone Addon: no need for external AddOns. No library used as well, so there's no risk of conflict!
Things that ARE planned but NOT implemented yet
- Arena timers and tools.
- Possibility to play musics when a specific event occurs in the battleground.
