Description
PugSense — Personal PUG Experience Tracker
PugSense is a privacy-first World of Warcraft addon that remembers your experiences with PUG (Pick-Up Group) players — so you never have to wonder "was this person good or bad last time?" again.
Why PugSense?
RaiderIO tells you how skilled a player is. PugSense tells you how your experience with them was. Every dungeon run, every raid, every random group — PugSense lets you rate your teammates and warns you before you join a group with players you've had bad experiences with.
Features
Post-Run Rating
After completing a dungeon or raid, PugSense shows a rating window where you can give each group member 1–5 stars, assign tags (Good Comms, Skilled, Patient, Helpful, Avoid, Reinvite, and more), and leave a private note. The rating prompt appears automatically when you leave the instance — whether by foot, portal, or hearthstone.
Player Detail Window
Click any player in the dashboard to see their full history: overall star rating, tag frequency (e.g. "Good Comms — 3x"), all notes you've written, and a complete rating history with dates, dungeon names, and Mythic+ levels.
LFG Warning Toast
When you join a new group that contains players you've previously rated poorly, PugSense shows a warning toast with their names, star ratings, and tags — so you can decide whether to stay or leave before the run starts.
Tooltip Overlay
Hover over any player in the world to see your PugSense rating directly in their tooltip: stars, tags, last encounter, and dungeon context. No need to open the dashboard — the info is always at your cursor.
Auto Leaver Detection
PugSense automatically tags players who leave your group before the dungeon is completed. No manual action required — the addon monitors system messages and marks leavers for you.
Dashboard with 4 Tabs
- Overview — Total runs tracked, players rated, average group quality, top tags, and recent encounters
- Players — Searchable list of all rated players with stars, encounter count, and last-seen time
- Blocklist — Players tagged with "Avoid" are automatically added here; remove them anytime
- Settings — Language selector (English/Deutsch), toggle warnings, tooltips, auto-tagging, skip guild members/friends, and configurable data retention
Weighted Star Rating
Newer ratings count more than older ones. A player who performed poorly months ago but great in recent runs will have their score improve — because people change, and PugSense reflects that.
Privacy by Design
- All ratings are 100% private — stored locally in your SavedVariables, never uploaded or shared
- No public scoreboards, no chat posting, no DPS
