PugProof

Steam-style reviews for Mythic+ pugs. Rate your groupmates after a key and see verified conduct summaries on tooltips and in the Group Finder. Praise shows from one rating; negatives only from multiple independent reports. Syncs via the companion app.

Description

You know the tank that gets mad after the first wipe in a +10 and decides to hold the group hostage after the vote to abandon fails? He is queueing for his next group right now and nobody in it has any idea. That is the problem I am trying to fix.
After a mythic+ run ends, PugProof shows a small prompt where you can rate the people you just played with. Good stuff like great teammate or stayed calm after wipes, or problem behavior like rage quitting and going afk. Everyone's ratings roll up into a summary that reads like a Steam review score, Mostly Positive, Very Positive, and so on down the scale. You see that summary on tooltips when you hover a max level player and in the group finder while you build your group, so you actually know something about people before you invite them.
The obvious worry with something like this is review bombing, so most of the design went into preventing it:
•    Ratings only count between people who were verifiably in the same run, and runs get checked against Blizzard's API. No drive by reviews
•    One angry person cannot mark you. Negative summaries only appear when multiple independent accounts report the same player. Praise counts from the very first rating though
•    One account spamming reviews at somebody does nothing. Standing moves on how many different people agree, never on volume from one person
•    A bad night falls off your record after 60 Days. Earned positive rep lasts longer
•    Accounts that do nothing but leave negative reviews quietly stop counting, so it encourages people to not just be negative Nancys but to also give positive feedback to everyone they encounter
•    If something unfair lands on you anyway, there is an appeals process on the website and a human reads it.

You need the companion app. WoW addons cannot talk to the internet, so a small desktop app for Windows and Mac uploads your ratings, keeps the lookup data current, and updates the addon itself. Get it at pugproof.com.
PugProof is in closed beta. You can browse lookups on the website without an invite but claiming characters and uploading ratings needs an invite code or a spot off the waitlist. Use code PUG-QCKS-2WU9 to get your spot off the waitlist. I will add more people as fast as I can but need to thoroughly test server infrastructure.
Rating people earns you Renown and badges on your PugProof profile. It is based on how many different people you have rated, so it cannot be farmed.
Type /pugproof or /pp in game for the dashboard and settings. There are toggles for the tooltip line, the group finder display, the rating prompt, and whether you show positives, cautions, or the no rating yet line.
