This addon will collect, display and save information as you play related to Rare kills, weekly and daily quests. There is an edit box to change the range of ID numbers being scanned. example currently 84000- 94000 is TWW range. I've added a drop down menu for reference.
Once opened with the minimap button you can enable or disable rare tracking with the rare tracking button.
The mini map button will display red if tracking rares is on or green if its off.
!!! Cautionary Note: If you leave the rare scan enabled it does pick up friendly NPC's with their flags also. I usually only toggle it on when approaching a rare and turn it off until running into another rare !!!
Once enabled and a rare goes down you can check the logs and get some pretty good information. Tracks quest flagged completed ID's , NPC ID 's, zone name and ID's and a timestamp .This information is displayed by clicking the rare tab button .This information is also saved to file once the rare drops or is looted.
Picking up or finishing a weekly or daily quest will be displayed and saved to file . World quests are included also marked with a WQ. This information is displayed by clicking the weekly or daily tab button.
Added a toggle button for the on hover tool to get ID's for currencies, items and spells. on demand This data is NOT saved to file but displayed in a tooltip beneath the currency, item or spell for manual logging (pen and paper) .
This information persisits until removed by the user. To remove them from the display you have to save your information to another file and delete the current saved varables folder for this addon.
Started learning lua a couple months ago and got addicted. I use this tool currently to feed my bigger addon which is a BETA version only for now. . Testing Testing Testing!
