This is a proximity voice chat addon for WoW forever. Automatically join zone voice channels and adjusts volume of other players based on their proximity to you.
Prox voice turns WoW Forever’s built-in voice chat into proximity chat. Your voice switches to a room for your current zone, and other addon users fade by distance. Proximity chat also works with parties and raid groups.
Instructions:
- Join the "Prox voice" community - by entering the invite code for your faction here
- Alliance: KBpx2yuEj3
- Horde: Coming soon!
- Turn on voice chat - in Options > Audio > Voice Chat, using the Legacy
service (Discord has not been tested and may cause issues). Open mic or push-to-talk both work; open mic feels more natural. - /reload - The addon will automatically detect the community and connect you to the channel for your current zone.
