PrototypeASMR
PrototypeASMR is a World of Warcraft addon that plays customizable sound effects when you mount specific mounts.
It includes a full in-game GUI for managing mount → sound mappings, testing sounds, and controlling playback (including a selectable audio channel like SFX/Master/etc).
Features
- Plays a random sound when mounting specific mounts
- Per-mount sound lists (mix Blizzard SoundKit IDs and custom sound names)
- Custom Sounds manager:

- Current mount detection + quick “GetID (mounted)” helper
How to use
Open the GUI with:
/asmr
You can enable or disable mount sounds either by using:
/asmr on
/asmr off
or by toggling Enabled / Disabled in the top-right corner of the GUI.
GUI overview
- Enable/disable the addon
- Choose target mount (use current mount or enter a MountID)
- Add/remove/clear sounds for a mount
- Play a specific sound entry (SoundKit ID or custom name)
- Browse all configured mounts in the Mount List tab
- Manage Custom Sounds (file + name + play test)
- Import/Export your setup for sharing or backup
