WoW-AddOn / UI Modification: AggroReducerNotifier

-- What does this addon do?

The AggroReducerNotifier informs the player if he gets a buff that reduces his aggro/threat.
This buff can be automatically canceled.


-- Why do we need this?

Our tanks in raids are sometimes buffed with Blessing of Salvation.
If they forget to cancel the buff afterwards, we have tanks getting less aggro.
Do the math :)


-- How does it work?

Simply copy/unpack the directory AggroReducerNotifier to the Interface/AddOns directory of your
WoW installation.

At the next login there should be a message saying AggroReducerNotifier (ARN) is loaded.

You can set some options with the command /arn in any chat window.

/arn enable :: enable ARN buff checking
/arn disable :: disable ARN buff checking

/arn chat :: notifies in default chat window
/arn box :: notifies as message box

/arn cancel :: buffs are automatically canceled
/arn notify :: don't cancel, just notify

/arn status :: show option settings


-- Any drawbacks?

At this time, just the paladin spells (Greater) Blessing of Salvations are checked.
If someone thinks of any other effects to be checked, please mail me.


The check is called on any change to the buff list.
So if you intendently keep the Blessing, at the next new (or fading) buff you are again
reminded that you still have it. These notifies are limited to every 15sec.

der seine Aggro reduziert.
Der Buff kann auch automatisch entfernt werden.

Unsere Tanks in Raids werden immer mal wieder mit dem Segen der Rettung gebufft.
Wenn sie dann vergessen, es abzuschalten, haben wir Tanks, die weniger Aggro ziehen.
Das Ergebnis kann man sich denken :)

Einfach den Ordner AggroReducerNotifier in das Verzeichnis Interface/AddOns der WOW-Installation
kopieren / entpacken.
