YOU DONT NEED THIS ADDON!! I coded this mod when Nefarian was on a 12 hour timer. Now he respawns in 15 minutes.

Records the quantity and kind of mobs killed. Useful to abort the Nefarius phase 1 fight.

HOWTO

For a quick demonstration, do the following:
1) Set yourself as announcer: /nef announce
2) Set yourself as reporter: /nef report
3) Kill some mobs.

You will see a counter of the mobs killed on your console/party/raid channel:

If you are fighting Nefarius, take into account that when the counter reaches the magical number, phase two starts. If you are doing instead, lets say, a Baron run, you may want to type
4) /nef silent
to silently gather info without pestering the party/raid channel. Later, you may type
5) /nef detail
to display a listing of the mobs you just killed. This will look like this...

CONSOLE COMMANDS

/nef report - report death mobs
/nef announce - record deaths reported
/nef detail - show kind and numbers of death mobs
/nef reset - reset the counter
/nef off - turn off the mod
/nef silent - silently gather info
/nef debug - pest the console with weird debug info

To broadcast the channel:
/nef broadcast <channel>
where <channel> can be any random name you make up. All users in your party or raid will join your channel.

ADITIONAL INFO

There should be one announcer and at least a couple of reporters, one on each camp. Better if some hunter in the middle is reporting too.

Why? The range where your combat log can receive the death events of hostile NPCs is limited to a certain number of yards. eg: Nefarius room is too big for one person to catch them all. To get a precise report of the death mobs, you need more than one person in report mode.

Only one reporter has the right to report several deaths of a mob with the same name in less than 300 ms. This allows for more than two reporters. Since the Drakonids have 15k hp, it is very uncommon to have two of them dieing in an interval of 300 milliseconds.

After many wipes, you learn to beat phase one without using this mod. Im only using it for entertaining purposes.
