Price Each in action

Description

Most of my programming stems from annoyances (because I'm normally too lazy to bother unless something is bugging me :).

I spent far too much time in the AH buying stuff that I needed and not bothering to do the math to see if the stack of 5 selling for 11g was a better bargain than the stack of 3 selling for 7g.

Thusly, I present to you... PriceEach. It shows you, next to the name of each stackable item in the AH, what the price for each one is if you buy it out. That is: buyout price divided by quantity in the stack. It's so simple it's MAGIC! (See the screenshot if it's still not clear).

The other feature is the ability to have the amount of gold colored RED if the price each is ridiculously high (threshold settable with a simple command), as I'm sure you've all seen the lovely individuals who hide a stack of something common in the list with the same price amount, only in gold instead of silver/copper.

I'm releasing this to both addon sites to increase visibility and your chances of getting the latest version. I have had real problems even getting them to load at times. Now I know why addon authors put up their own sites, and if this continues I will probably do the same.

Lastly, if you find it useful, please vote me up :)

Release notes:

Thanks to everyone for feedback and ideas. I've implemented a few in this release, and I'm considering a few others. If you can provide technical "how-to" info like xelepart did, that helps tons.

Regarding load-on-demand, I see an option in the next patch UI notes/speculation that may allow me to cause this addon to load when the auction UI does automagically.

See additional patch notes for release-specific information.

Commands:

/pe warn X - Set warning threshold amount (see patch notes). Default if unset is 5
/pe warn - Reports the current warning threshold value.
