ProfitPerHour
Know what your farm is actually worth. ProfitPerHour tracks everything you and your group loot during a farming session, prices it honestly, and shows your real gold per hour.
Session tracking
- Records looted items and gold for you and — via the chat log — your whole group
- Gold per hour, items per hour, breakdown by item quality, most valuable item
- Sessions survive
/reloadand relogging; reset any time; history of your last 10 sessions - Optional auto-pause when you go idle
- Group loot view, optionally grouped by player; your share of the group total in the statistics tab
Farm context
- Instance counter for the 5-per-hour limit in a true rolling window — turns gold at 4, red at 5, and shows exactly when you can enter again (tracked account-wide, unaffected by session resets)
- Saved instances with time until reset
- Mob kill counter and current zone
Honest pricing
Most trackers show you the most optimistic number they can find. ProfitPerHour does the opposite:
- Price sources: vendor, Auctionator (market value, disenchant value), TSM4 (market value, min buyout, destroy value, custom price string) — all optional, configurable per item quality
- A separate rule for equipment only: by default, green BoE gear is valued at its vendor price — an auction listing is what somebody asks, not what anybody pays
- Per-item overrides for the exceptions
- The 5% auction house cut is deducted — the number you see is what actually ends up in your mailbox
- Multiple sources of the same kind no longer inflate the result: one quote per channel (vendor / auction / disenchant), then the best channel wins
- Speculative prices (based on unsold listings) are shown in amber, with the guaranteed vendor floor and the age of the auction data in the tooltip
- Optional: apply TSM's measured regional sale rate to see the expected value instead of the best case
- Footer and status block can show a "safe" total alongside — vendor floor only, no sales assumptions
No double counting
- Combining 10 motes into a primal swaps the motes for the primal in your list instead of counting both
- Disenchanting, prospecting and milling products are not counted on top of the items they came from (toggleable)
- Purchases, mail, trades, quest rewards and duplicate loot messages are filtered out
Interface
- Compact status block plus a dockable, resizable loot panel with sortable columns
- Every line of the status block can be shown or hidden individually
- Minimap button, options page under Interface → AddOns, right-click context menu for everything
- Fully localized in English and German
- No libraries, no dependencies — Auctionator and/or TradeSkillMaster are only needed if you want auction prices
Usage
/pph— show or hide the window/pph report— post a session summary to chat- Right-click the window or the minimap button for all settings
Note: group loot is read from the chat log, so loot outside chat range is missed — the group value is a lower bound.
