What's new in 1.0.3: friend crafting orders sync cooldowns and support decline reasons. Order history keeps your last 50 orders, sortable by date. Pending orders expire after 14 days, and a friend's enchanting recipes show their icons. The full changelog is on the Files tab.

ProfessionBuddy replaces the default profession window and connects your characters. Open a profession to see what you can make, what each recipe needs, who has the materials, and how far the recipe moves your skill.

ProfessionBuddy includes the following features:

• All characters in one view. See every character's professions, known recipes, and bag and bank contents without logging in and out.

• Material calculator. Pick a recipe and a quantity, and it resolves the full reagent tree, including intermediate crafts, counts what you hold across your characters, and builds a shopping list.
• Crafting orders. Request a craft from a friend who runs ProfessionBuddy. The request, accept, crafted, and received steps run with chat notifications, an order queue, and history. If your friend is offline, the order queues and sends the next time you are both online.

• Friend and group sharing. Party up or add contacts to see each other's professions, recipes, and materials.
• Skill-up colors from client data. Recipe difficulty (orange, yellow, green, and grey) and skill ranges come from Blizzard's client data, so the numbers match your trainer and the game.
• Tooltips. "Craftable by" shows which of your characters can make an item, and "Used in" shows which recipes consume a reagent, with each recipe's skill-up range. Both read across your characters.
• Search. Find an item or recipe across every character's bags, bank, and recipe book at once.
• Batch crafting. Craft 1, 5, 10, 20, or all, with a live countdown.
• Saved state. Window position, filters, sort, search, and selection persist between sessions.
• Bug report helper. Run /pb bug to open a pre-filled report to paste into a GitHub issue.

Supported professions
ProfessionBuddy supports Blacksmithing, Leatherworking, Tailoring, Engineering, Alchemy, Jewelcrafting, Enchanting, Cooking, First Aid, and Mining and Smelting.

Languages
ProfessionBuddy ships in English (enUS). Recipe matching uses locale-stable spell IDs rather than names, so the main features work on non-English clients even though the interface text stays English.

Getting started
Install ProfessionBuddy, then open a profession or type /pb (or /profbuddy). The gear icon in the window opens settings.

Roadmap
Planned, not promised. No ETA, and priorities can change:

• Guild support for data sharing and crafting orders
• Favorite recipes, friends, and crafting orders for quick access

Reporting bugs
To report a bug, install !BugGrabber and BugSack and reproduce the issue. Run /pb bug to generate a pre-filled report, then open an issue with the Lua error at https://github.com/m4ru92/ProfessionBuddy/issues.

Notes

• Crafting orders work between same-realm characters and friends.
• ProfessionBuddy only reads and displays other players' shared data. It never changes anyone else's game.
• Full per-version changelog is in the Files tab when you expand a version.
