# Changelog

## 4.2.0 (2026-08-20)

- Recipes you never intend to craft can now be hidden from the report. Hover a
recipe and click the small x in front of it, or Alt-click the row — either
way it disappears from the list and the counts above it drop to match. PvP
gear, novelty patterns, anything you have decided to skip: mark it once and
  stop scrolling past it.
- Ignored recipes are remembered for your whole account, not per character, so
a second Tailor does not present you with the same list to clear again.
- A "Show ignored" checkbox appears in the bottom of the report once you have
ignored something. Tick it and the ignored recipes come back greyed out and
in their original place, where the same x (now an undo arrow) or another
Alt-click restores them. The number beside the checkbox tells you how many
are currently ignored for this character.
- "Reset ignored recipes" in the options panel clears the whole list after a
confirmation, if it ever gets away from you.
- If you ignore everything that is left, the report now says so instead of
claiming there are no unknown recipes.
- There is deliberately no way to ignore a whole expansion or profession at
once. Nothing the addon knows about corresponds to "PvP gear" — the game
does not tell addons what a recipe is *for* — so a bulk button could only
offer to hide groups you do not actually want hidden, and one stray click
would take hundreds of recipes with it.

## 4.1.0 (2026-08-12)

- Updated for patch 12.1, "Curse of Ula'tek". The addon no longer shows up as
out of date in the addon list.
- The bundled recipe data is refreshed for 12.1: 39 recipes the patch added
are now recognised across all nine professions — the Amani and Ula'tek
crafts, the new housing decor, the new cooking dishes — so they show their
source and Wowhead link instead of appearing bare.
- The dye pigment recipes 12.1 removed are gone from the data too, so they can
no longer turn up in a report.
- Right-click waypoints now cover most of the new recipes, and 72 older
recipes that previously had no known location gained one.
- Nothing in the report's behaviour changed. Unknown recipes still come from
your profession window, so recipes the patch added were already being
listed; this release adds their source details and map pins.

## 4.0.0 (2026-07-23)

- The report now covers every expansion, not just the current one. Before, it
only knew the recipes bundled with the addon, which are scraped for the
current expansion alone — so a character with a screenful of unlearned
Classic recipes was told two were missing. Unknown recipes now come from the
profession window itself, so whatever the game lists as not learned, the
report lists too. Expect much longer lists, grouped by expansion tab with
only the newest expanded — use the +/- headers to navigate.
- Cooking is now supported. It was never shown at all: the check for which
professions you have stopped at the first one you had not learned, and
Cooking sits last in the list.
- Every recipe now shows where to get it, read straight from the game — the
same source line your profession window shows, with the vendor's name, the
zone, and the cost. It is in your language and stays correct after patches,
and is often better than the old bundled text: where the addon used to say
only "Drop", the game names the actual chest and zone.
- Right-click waypoints now work for older recipes, not just current ones,
backed by a greatly expanded map database of trainers, vendors and drop
sources across every expansion. A recipe whose location isn't known yet
still shows its source text, just without a map pin.
- Recipe tooltips fill in on the first hover instead of needing a second one.
- The report window title is centred correctly in its title bar.
- Note that the game itself lists some long-retired recipes as not learned;
those now appear too, because the report matches your profession window.
- After updating, open each profession window once so its recipes are detected
exactly — the report says so until you have.

## 3.1.0 (2026-07-20)

- Waypoints now respect your character's faction: right-clicking a recipe sends
you only to trainers and vendors your side can actually reach, instead of
sometimes pointing at an Alliance- or Horde-only vendor you can't use.
- Tooltips now mark Alliance- or Horde-only vendors and trainers, and dim the
ones that aren't for your faction, so you can tell which one is yours.
- When a recipe has several reachable vendors, right-click again to cycle the
  waypoint to the next one.
