Prof Leveling Helper

Prof Leveling Helper tells you exactly how to level your professions from 1 to 375 on WoW TBC Anniversary (2.5.5): which materials you need and how many you're still missing (bags + bank), what you can skill up right now with what you own, where to farm, and where to learn the next rank — with the place on the map and an arrow to get there.

Features

• Only your professions: detects the professions your character has and shows a tab for each.
• NOW / NEXT panels: what to do right now (the orange recipe to craft and its materials), and the next step or rank to learn.
• "Skill up NOW": reads your open profession window live and lists the orange/yellow recipes you can craft with the materials you already have. Greens are skipped so you don't waste mats.
• Materials list: have / needed / missing for every material, in the order you'll need them, with secondary reagents (vials, bolts, spices…) kept apart. Crafted intermediates are not double-counted.
• Where to learn it: recipes and ranks point to the real trainer, vendor, book or quest — nearest trainer first, with a dot on the world map and an arrow on click. At a rank cap the addon tells you what unlocks the next rank (e.g. Expert Fishing from Old Man Heming, Artisan Fishing from Nat Pagle's quest with the four quest fish and where they bite, Artisan Cooking's quest chain).
• Travel routes: /prof trainer and map clicks plan the trip with boats, zeppelins, the Undercity–Silvermoon orb, flight paths and the Dark Portal, and print the legs.
• Fish & Cook: for Fishing and Cooking together — which fish to catch for the next orange cooking recipe, where to fish them, and who sells the recipe.
• Gathering navigation: Mining and Herbalism include a bundled TBC node database and can point TomTom to the nearest node that still gives skill, moving on automatically after each gather. The current zone wins; enemy territory is flagged. Choose a specific herb or ore, or let the addon follow the skill route. Nodes missing from the data are learned as you gather.
• Skinning: zones and beasts that match your skill and your level.
• Tooltips: hover a reagent (in the world, bags or bank) to see how many you still need; hover a beast to see which cooking meat it drops.
• Leveling plan window, per-character settings, movable minimap button, and an adjustable extra buffer for unlucky yellow skill-ups.

Usage

• Minimap button or /prof to open the panel; Leveling plan opens the full plan.
• /prof trainer — map and arrow to where you learn the next recipe or rank.
• /prof fishcook — map and arrow for the Fish & Cook suggestion.
• /prof help — all commands.

The addon's own interface is in English. Item, recipe and profession names come from the game client in your language.

Optional dependencies

• TomTom draws the waypoint arrow (navigation only; everything else works without it).
• GatherMate2 and GatherLite are optional extra node sources.
• Auctionator adds prices and an estimated cost for missing materials.

Data and license

Licensed GPL-3.0. Game data comes from the open-source CMaNGOS TBC database (GPL-3.0), the WoW Anniversary client tables, and the GatherMate2 Data node snapshot (WTFPL). Full list of sources in THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.md, inside the download.
