Prism
v2.0.0 (2026-10-04)
- Highlight shared Hamstring debuffs
- Glow Victory Rush while the spell is usable
Add the Forever Victory Rush action spell ID to the usable glow classification. Keep the existing Overpower and Revenge behavior.
Require exact-build SpellName and SpellEffect data for hard-coded spell IDs. Reject tutorial lists and other game modes as spell-ID evidence. - Highlight Taunt and Mocking Blow and glow Shield Bash
Highlight Taunt and Mocking Blow while the player tanks the hostile target. Pass the potentially secret tanking flag directly to the highlight alpha.
Glow Shield Bash while a hostile target casts or channels and the action is usable. Detect active casts through the never-secret trade-skill fields.
Keep each spell rank list separate. Share spell matching, aura candidate filters, highlight textures, and general glow infrastructure. - Highlight Warrior debuffs on target action buttons
- Glow Revenge with the same usable spell list
Share one spell ID list for every spell that glows while it is usable.
Add the six Revenge ranks to that list. A later spell only needs its
rank IDs in the same list.
Resolve a stored override through the base spell, as the Overpower path
already does. - Glow an Overpower button while the spell is usable
The action bar enables Overpower after the target dodges. Read that
state from C_ActionBar.IsUsableAction, and refresh on
ACTION_USABLE_CHANGED. Do not compare the usable flag in Lua. Set the
glow alpha from the flag, so a secret combat value cannot break the
check.
Use the retail spell alert frame, not the highlight texture. Parent the
frame to the overlay, and size it to 1.4 times the button. Do not change
the action button. Require Blizzard_ActionBar so the template is loaded.
Match the four Overpower rank IDs, and the base spell when the button
stores an override. Measure the full alpha once, because the documented
default is 255 and SetAlpha uses the range 0 to 1. - Check a bandage button at full health
The client returns unit health as a secret value, and addon code cannot
compare such a value. Use a step curve with UnitHealthPercent, because
the curve gives 1 at full health and 0 below it. Set the highlight alpha
from that result, so the code holds no comparison.
Resolve the heal target from the target unit when the player can assist
it, and from the player otherwise. Do not check a dead or ghost unit.
Identify a bandage from the item class and subclass. Read the item data
again until the client caches it. - Highlight the action button instead of dimming it
Remove the dim texture from the aura button and keep the highlight
texture. The highlight alone marks the active buff, and the dim layer hid
the button art.
State the unit in the README feature line, because the overlay reads
player auras only. - Keep the self-buff overlay visible and add CI
The aura container runs its flow layout after each aura update. Prism
adds an aura slot and no aura group, so the layout has no elements and
shrank the container to one pixel. The aura button fills the container,
which made the overlay invisible. Set the flow layout padding to the
action button size so the layout agrees with the overlay, and re-apply
the size on each scan.
Refresh the aura state on zone and combat transitions, because a
container without the ProcessAura policy reads the auras only on the
events it registers. Enable the container after Show, because a hidden
container does not register for aura events.
Scan the action buttons ten times per second, and skip a placement that
does not move.
Add continuous integration, and keep the release workflow read-only.
Copy the addon files without deleting the target directory, and read
another addon directory from PRISM_ADDON_DIRECTORY. - Replace the TypeScript build with direct Lua
Keep the addon in one Lua file. Remove generated API declarations and Node tooling. Add source-verification guidance and a direct install script. - Replace the DSL addon with a hardcoded Forever self-buff overlay
Drop the grammar, config UI, and example configs. Keep the WoW API
generator. Draw Battle Shout-style buffs with a UIParent overlay. - Update Paladin config
- Refine Paladin seal/judgement glow conditions
