PrepCheck

PrepCheck is a lightweight consumable and equipment durability readiness auditor for World of Warcraft. Designed for raids, dungeons, and solo play, it provides an instant snapshot of your group's combat readiness before pulling.

Features

1. Consumable Buff Audit

• Food Buffs: Checks all group members for active food buffs (Well Fed).
• Flasks & Elixirs: Scans for active flask, elixir, or phial buffs.

2. Equipment Durability Tracking

• Evaluates equipped armor and weapon durability across all items (Head, Chest, Legs, Weapons, etc.).
• Highlights individual gear pieces with critical durability below 30% and indicates the specific damaged slot.

3. Hybrid Inspection System

• P2P Addon Synchronization: Players with PrepCheck installed communicate over addon channels, transmitting exact durability and consumable states regardless of in-game distance or zone.
• Passive Aura Scanning: Automatically falls back to inspecting standard unit auras for players without the addon installed.
• Out-of-Range Handling: Identifies non-addon players who are offline or beyond visible range (~100 yards) without false-flagging them as missing buffs.

4. Solo & Group Support

• In Groups: Formats and announces missing buffs, damaged gear, and out-of-range players directly to /party or /raid chat.
• Solo Mode: Running the check while solo provides a clean, tailored local report in your chat frame.

5. Automated Ready Check Integration

• When a group leader or assistant initiates a /readycheck, PrepCheck automatically runs the audit and outputs the results to chat after a brief collection window.

6. Minimap Controls

• Draggable Border Button: A circular minimap button sitting on the minimap border.
• Minimap Addon Compartment: Full support for the modern minimap addon compartment dropdown.
