PoV Loadout Manager

PoV Loadout Manager (PLM) is a proactive utility designed for raiders who want to ensure they are perfectly optimized for every single boss encounter without the headache of manual bookkeeping.

Whether you are progressing through Throne of Thunder or Siege of Orgrimmar, PLM remembers exactly which talents, glyphs, and equipment sets you prefer for each fight and prompts you to switch at the perfect moment.

Core Features

• Automatic Detection: The addon triggers a "Loadout Mismatch" popup the moment you target a boss or immediately after the previous boss in the raid dies.
• One-Click Optimization: Using a smart, secure macro system, PLM allows you to unlearn/learn talents and swap glyphs with a single context-sensitive button.
• Equipment Set Integration: Automatically links your Blizzard Equipment Manager sets to specific boss encounters.
• Smart Glyph Handling: Includes a built-in "Copy & Search" feature and automated socketing to navigate the complexities of the Glyph UI.
• Multi-Language Support: Fully localized for both English and German clients.

How it Works

1. Configure: Open the manager with /plm. Select a boss, set up your character exactly how you want it, and hit "Capture Current" then "Save".
2. Trigger: When you target that boss later (or kill the boss before it), a popup appears if your current setup doesn't match your saved one.
3. Apply: Click the "Smart Apply" button. The addon dynamically updates the button's function to perform the next necessary task (Open UI -> Unlearn -> Learn -> Equip).

Regarding Protected APIs & Security

World of Warcraft protects certain actions (like changing talents or glyphs) by requiring a "Hardware Event" (a physical mouse click). PoV Loadout Manager is 100% Blizzard-compliant.

Unlike other addons that might fail or throw errors when trying to automate these changes, PLM uses a Secure Action Button. This creates a temporary macro that runs when you click it, allowing the addon to assist your preparation while fully respecting Blizzard's security restrictions. No "Forbidden Action" errors, just smooth preparation.

Slash Commands

• /plm or /plm show - Opens the Loadout Editor.
• /plm help - Displays help information.
• /plm sim <EncounterID> - (Developer/Advanced) Simulates a boss kill trigger.
