PortalJockey brings your character's travel options together in one searchable menu. Click an animated portal on your screen or the minimap button, choose a destination, and use the travel ability or item you already own.

Your travel, together

• Hearthstone toys and the ordinary Hearthstone, plus Dalaran and Garrison Hearthstones.
• Mage teleports and portals, engineering wormholes and transporters, and other supported class or racial travel abilities.
• Learned dungeon and raid teleports. Dungeon entries show their expansion and zone, making old portals useful for farming trips.
• Travel equipment such as Kirin Tor rings and guild cloaks, plus supported travel toys and consumables.
• Personal Key to the Arcantina and housing Travel to Plot, with return travel when the game makes it available.

Categories adapt to your character's class, race, faction, profession, and available options. PortalJockey uses a maintained catalog and discovers known travel spells from supported spellbook flyouts.

Find it, favorite it, make it yours

• Search by name, destination, dungeon zone, expansion, or acquisition source.
• Star favorites and arrange your travel options manually.
• Save dungeon expansion filters and pin your preferred expansion first. Midnight is first by default.
• Use Ready now to focus on usable travel, or Show unavailable to inspect owned options with unmet requirements.
• Enable Show unlearned to browse applicable collection goals, see where to obtain them, and bookmark them for later. These entries are informational until learned or obtained. Seasonal and promotional sources have their own availability; removed or unverified sources are excluded.

A portal that fits your UI

Choose Void, Holy, Poison, Arcane, Fel, or Warlock portal styles. Adjust the screen portal's size and opacity, lock its position, or hide it. Drag and resize the travel window, adjust its scale, and use the standard minimap launcher.

The header has an animated Void portal and travel taglines that rotate each time you open the panel. Layout and organization settings save in your active profile. Default is shared across characters. Open Options > Profiles for character-specific profiles, named profiles, and independent copies with backups. Old character setups are preserved and imported as each character logs in after upgrading. EllesmereUI styling is supported when installed; PortalJockey also works on its own.

Quick start

1. Open the menu with /pj, the screen portal, or the minimap icon.
2. Click a destination to use its normal in-game travel action.
3. Shift-drag the screen portal to move it. Drag the menu header to reposition the window and its bottom-right corner to resize it.
4. Right-click either launcher, click Options, or use /pj options to customize the addon.

The panel disappears immediately after you click a travel action, leaving hearthstone and teleport animations visible. Closing the menu clears search. Favorites, ordering, and saved filters remain.

Good to know

Travel remains subject to the game's cooldowns, unlocks, profession requirements, and location restrictions. The menu closes during combat and can be reopened afterward. Multi-step wormholes, portals, and summoning abilities retain their normal in-game interactions.

Travel equipment may need to be equipped first. The equip click keeps the panel open, preserving your search and category. Wait for its equip cooldown to show Ready, then click again to travel; that travel click closes the panel. PortalJockey remembers the exact item displaced by its equip click and restores it after successful travel. It waits during combat and loading, and a manual gear change takes priority. Gear records are separate for each character. Use /pj restore after cancelling a cast or to retry; /pj keepgear cancels restoration. Already-equipped travel gear has no remembered replacement. Consumables use an item or charge. PortalJockey does not grant unearned teleports or automatically travel for you.

Compatibility: Retail 12.1.0. Classic clients are not supported by this release. Embedded libraries are included; EllesmereUI is optional.
