PoisonFlow

 

PoisonFlow is a small addon for Rogues in World of Warcraft: Forever that helps you manage and monitor your weapon poisons.

I originally created it because I wanted an easier way to keep track of my poisons without constantly checking my weapons or inventory.

The goal was to keep things simple while providing the features I actually need when playing a Rogue.

 

Configuration

You can configure your Main Hand and Off Hand separately.

Each weapon supports a primary and a fallback poison. If your primary poison is no longer available in your inventory, PoisonFlow will automatically select your fallback when applying poison.

To configure a poison, simply click on a poison slot in the settings.

Your inventory will open and all items except poisons will be greyed out. Drag the poison you want onto the slot and you’re done.

You can also drag poisons directly from your inventory without using the filter.

 

Monitoring

PoisonFlow monitors your equipped weapons and active poisons.

It can warn you when:

• A weapon has no poison applied.
• A poison is about to expire.
• Your remaining poison charges are running low.
• You’re running low on poisons in your inventory.
• A configured weapon slot has no weapon equipped.

You can adjust the warning thresholds in the settings or disable individual warnings.

 

Application

PoisonFlow provides a small movable button for applying your configured poisons.

The addon also includes a minimap button for accessing the settings.

PoisonFlow currently supports 11 languages:

• English (enUS)
• German (deDE)
• French (frFR)
• Spanish (esES)
• Spanish – Mexico (esMX)
• Portuguese – Brazil (ptBR)
• Italian (itIT)
• Russian (ruRU)
• Korean (koKR)
• Simplified Chinese (zhCN)
• Traditional Chinese (zhTW)

AI was used to do translation since i am from Germany and only speak German and English.

The addon automatically detects your game client’s language and falls back to English if a translation is missing.

Compatibility

PoisonFlow was developed for World of Warcraft: Forever.

Compatibility with other WoW versions is not guaranteed.

Feedback

This is my first public release of PoisonFlow, so there might still be some bugs or things I haven’t considered.

Also this is my first time coding in LUA Script normally i am an iOS Developer.
