Description
PlayerGrader M+
PlayerGrader helps you spot reliable Mythic+ PUGs by showing a 0-100 performance grade based on real in-dungeon contribution, not just item level, Raider.IO score, or timed keys.
The goal is simple: identify players who actually help keys succeed by doing damage, healing appropriately, interrupting dangerous casts, surviving, using defensives/self-sustain, and performing well in the context of the run.
How Grades Work
PlayerGrader scores logged Mythic+ runs by comparing players against same-spec, same-dungeon, similar-key benchmarks. Grades are role-aware and context-aware, so the addon looks beyond raw meters.
Examples of context PlayerGrader considers:
- Was the run smooth or chaotic?
- Did the group have deaths?
- Was there heavy healing pressure, or very little healing needed?
- Were dangerous casts controlled?
- Did a tank or specific group composition change what other players were expected to do?
- Did the player contribute in ways that helped the key succeed, even if one raw stat was not flashy?
PlayerGrader uses a wide range of run data, including damage done, healing done, damage taken, deaths, interrupts and stops, self-sustain, item level context, key level, dungeon, spec, role, run speed, team output, and group survival. It also looks at group context, such as whether a player was undergeared or overgeared relative to the group, whether the run had unusually high or low healing pressure, and whether team composition or group performance changed what each player was realistically expected to contribute. The result is a grade built around actual contribution, not one raw meter number.
What You See In-Game
PlayerGrader displays a score panel when hovering over players in:
- Unit frames / mouseover
- Group Finder listings
- Guild and Communities views
The panel can show:
- Overall grade
- Player spec/role
- Average logged key level
- Category breakdowns such as damage, interrupts/stops, deaths, and self-sustain
Commands
/pgoptions
Opens the options menu and lets you choose where the score box appears.
/pg charactername
Prints a player's grade in chat.
/pgfloat on|off
Toggles the floating panel.
Data
PlayerGrader includes a built-in grade database of logged US-region Mythic+ characters, built from Warcraft Logs data. The database currently contains 200k+ characters (as of 5/18/26) and continues to grow.
PlayerGrader can only show grades for characters who appear in the dataset. If a character has not been found yet, you will see “no grade found.”
Want better coverage? Log your Mythic+ runs on Warcraft Logs. Logged runs help add more characters and improve the dataset over time.
If the data file is missing or not loaded correctly, PlayerGrader will warn you in-game that no grade data was found.
Installation
Install normally through the CurseForge App, or unzip into:
World of Warcraft/_retail_/Interface/AddOns/PlayerGrader
Make sure the db folder is present inside the addon folder.
