Your adventure needs a smaller adventure.

Already playing WoW? Excellent. Now you can play a tiny RPG inside it.

Play Pals puts a miniature idle adventure in your UI: create heroes, send them across Azeroth, fight familiar creatures, collect equipment, and spend your hard-earned gold on becoming slightly more dangerous.

Because apparently, your main character didn’t have enough alts.

Tiny heroes. Full-time problems.

- Create up to 10 mini-characters with 8 Classic races and 9 classes.
- Explore 33 zones across Azeroth and Kalimdor.
- Level your little adventurers from 1 to 60.
- Unlock and improve 5 spells per class.
- Collect weapons, armor, and trinkets, with loot ranging from Common to Epic.
- Upgrade talents with gold. Financial responsibility was never the quest objective.
- Keep track of your growing collection of tiny overachievers from the character roster.

Start by clicking spells and helping your heroes survive their questionable career choices.

At level 2, unlock repeat farming in a selected zone.

At level 5, unlock Auto-cast and let eligible mini-characters cast their own spells, including those you aren’t currently viewing.

Zone loot still needs collecting manually. They can fight kobolds, but apparently picking things up requires management.

Berserk: a brief disagreement with everything nearby.

Want to get involved again?

Activate Berserk for one minute of manual spell-clicking, sevenfold damage, rapid consecutive fights, and slightly better loot.

Auto-cast takes a break. Your mouse does not.

Then enjoy a five-minute cooldown while your clicking finger reconsiders its life choices.

Small enough to stay out of the way.

Use the full interface to manage characters, equipment, talents, and loot, or switch to compact mode to keep the adventure running in a smaller space.

A movable minimap button lets you access Play Pals whenever your tiny employees require supervision.

Getting started

1. Install Play Pals.
2. Open it with /playpals, /pp, or the minimap button.
3. Create your first mini-character.
4. Begin your extremely important second adventure.

Commands:

- /playpals or /pp — Toggle the interface.
- /pp compact — Toggle compact mode.
- /pp berserk — Activate Berserk.

A few useful details

- Current development targets WoW Retail.
- French and English interface text.
- No additional addon required.
- Characters, gold, equipment, and automated combat belong entirely to the mini-game.
- Compact mode keeps the adventure running. Fully closing the mini-game pauses it.
- No offline progression.
