What's new

PlaterMobHealth 10.5.13

⚠️ MIDNIGHT DEVELOPMENT NOTICE
Midnight support is still a work in progress due to Blizzard's ongoing API, protected-value, and nameplate-system changes. While major functionality has been restored, some features may not yet work correctly or may behave differently from Classic/TBC. Further compatibility fixes and improvements are actively being worked on.

  • Major built-in Damage Meter improvements.

  • Damage Meter now updates properly live during combat.

  • Fixed the meter becoming stuck or failing to update after combat.

  • Improved Current Fight and Total tracking.

  • Added support for displaying up to 25 players with scrolling.

  • Improved player-name display, including better handling of longer names.

  • Improved alignment of DMG / DPS / % values.

  • Cleaned up percentage formatting.

  • Improved fight-state detection and combat transitions.

  • Improved Damage Meter reliability and performance.

  • Additional fixes for incorrect/stale combat data.

Midnight — Major Compatibility Update

  • Fixed the major HP bar black/blinking issue caused by Blizzard's recent Midnight nameplate changes.

  • Reworked Midnight HP handling using the stable two-pass health prediction/calculator system.

  • Fixed custom HP bars showing 0/0, becoming black, disappearing or repeatedly rebuilding.

  • Improved Midnight nameplate stability.

  • Fixed Custom Builder player/NPC text settings interfering with each other.

  • Fixed Custom Builder menu overlaps and profile-control positioning.

  • Improved hostile nameplate color handling with Midnight's protected threat information.

  • Restored and improved Mob Hints functionality.

  • Hint categories now default to ON and selections persist after /reload.

  • Improved hint spell detection, icons, tooltips and cooldown handling.

  • Improved hint/cooldown timer smoothness.

  • Restored PlaterMobHealth aura/debuff support for Midnight.

  • Added configurable aura/debuff positioning through Custom Builder.

  • Improved aura buff/debuff and stack tracking.

  • Added OmniCC GODMODE detection and compatibility work for nameplate debuffs.

  • Fixed the PMHUpdatePower missing-function error.

  • Various Midnight fixes for recycled nameplates, unit handling, auras, hints and UI stability.

Midnight — Known Limitations

  • Not every PlaterMobHealth feature is guaranteed to work correctly on Midnight yet.

  • Mob Hints, aura/debuff handling, OmniCC integration and some protected nameplate behavior may still require additional work.

  • Blizzard continues to change/restrict APIs and protected unit information.

  • Midnight support remains actively under development.

Classic/TBC remain the mature branches, while Midnight compatibility continues to be developed and stabilized.
