Nameplate System Overhaul

  • Fixed guild names updating slower than HP bars and player names
  • Guilds now update instantly together with HP and name updates
  • Removed delayed guild pop-in behavior
  • Improved nameplate refresh consistency in crowded cities and raids

Guild & NPC Detection Fixes

  • Fixed NPCs incorrectly inheriting nearby player guild names
  • Fixed vendors, innkeepers, trainers, flight masters and other NPCs displaying random guild text
  • Restored proper NPC subtitle detection
  • NPCs now correctly display titles such as:
    • Food & Drink
    • Innkeeper
    • Stable Master
    • Flight Master
    • Trainer
  • Player nameplates continue to display guild names normally

Faction Indicators

  • Added optional Alliance (A) / Horde (H) faction markers to player nameplates
  • Compact left-side faction display for quick player identification
  • Preserves existing level display position on the right side

Visual Improvements

  • Removed unnecessary target-selection glow from custom nameplates
  • Cleaner appearance while maintaining target visibility through existing UI elements
  • Improved overall nameplate readability in high-population areas

Classic & TBC Parity

  • Ported all guild, faction marker, subtitle, and update-speed improvements to Classic version
  • Classic and TBC nameplate systems now behave consistently

Stability

  • Fixed multiple edge cases involving guild caching and nameplate reuse
  • Improved nameplate behavior during reloads, zone changes, and large player populations
  • New stable baseline for both TBC and Classic versions

πŸš€ Nameplates now update as a single unified element: HP bar, name, guild, faction marker, and NPC subtitle all appear together without delays or incorrect data.
