Plainswalking

Got tired of Plainsrunning popping on me all the time, so I made this. It's a little button on your minimap. Turn it on and the addon takes Plainsrunning off you every time you get it. That's all it does.

When it's on, the button glows green. When it's off, it goes grey and leaves the buff alone.

One thing to know: the game doesn't let addons remove buffs during combat, so it doesn't try. Once you're out of combat it goes back to work, and if you still have Plainsrunning at that point, it takes it off.

How to use it

1. Unzip it into your Interface\AddOns folder and log in (or type /reload if you're already in game).
2. Find the boot icon on the edge of your minimap. It starts out on.
3. Click it to turn it on or off.
4. If it's in your way, hold left click and drag it to another spot on the minimap. It'll stay where you leave it.

Commands

• /proff turns it on or off
• /proff on and /proff off if you'd rather be specific
• /proff hide hides the button, /proff show brings it back
• /proff scan lists the buffs you have right now

If it's not taking the buff off

The addon looks for a buff named "Plainsrunning". If yours is named a little differently, get the buff on you, type /proff scan, and find it in the list. Then type /proff name followed by the exact name, like /proff name Plainsrunning. It'll remember that from then on.
