Every new character starts with default settings that make sense (Auto Loot, cooldown numbers, class-coloured chat and more), plus big cooldown numbers and helpful tooltip lines.
Pint’s New Character Setup sets up every new character with default settings that make sense, so you don’t have to click through the options each time you roll an alt.
The game saves settings like Auto Loot per character, so every new character starts with them off. This add-on turns on the ones you choose the first time each character logs in. After that you can change them on that character as normal, and the add-on won’t switch them back.
Every new character starts with (choose with /setup)
- Auto Loot
- Cooldown numbers on action bars
- Class-coloured names in chat, in every chat type and channel
- Target of Target
- Maximum camera distance
- Track quests when accepted
- Open loot window at mouse (off unless you tick it)
“Apply to this character now” sets up the character you’re playing.
Big, readable cooldown numbers
Large, outlined countdown numbers on your action bars. Works with Blizzard bars, Dominos, Bartender and Pint’s Bars. Choose the size and the colour.
Helpful item tooltips
- Stacks to: 20 on anything that stacks
- Used in: Tailoring, First Aid on crafting materials
Each line can be switched off.
Options: /setup, or Esc → Options → AddOns. Classic Era, Hardcore and WoW Forever.
