Pint’s Button Bin clears the clutter from around your minimap. Every add-on’s minimap button is gathered into a single small bag button, and clicking it opens a neat grid with all of them, ready to use.
What it does
- Finds add-on minimap buttons on its own, including every add-on that uses the common minimap-icon library (LibDBIcon), and keeps looking as new ones appear.
- Leaves Blizzard’s own minimap pieces alone: the clock, calendar, tracking, mail and queue status stay where they are.
- Ignores map pins, arrows and other overlays that aren’t real buttons.
- Shows every button at full brightness in the bin, even ones that normally fade until you hover the minimap.
- Shows a count on the bin of how many buttons it’s holding.
Using it
- Click the bin to show or hide the buttons.
- Right-click for options.
- Middle-drag or Alt-drag to move the bin anywhere on screen. It remembers where you put it.
Options
- Close the grid after clicking a button.
- Open the grid just by hovering over the bin.
- Buttons per row, spacing and overall size.
- “Look again” to pick up buttons from add-ons that loaded late, and “Reset position”.
Choosing exactly what goes in
/pmb listshows what’s been collected./pmb include <name>collects a button the bin missed./pmb ignore <name>leaves a button on the minimap./pmb unignore,/pmb uninclude,/pmb unignorealland/pmb unincludeallundo those.
Use /fstack while hovering a button to see its name. If you’re coming from MinimapButtonButton, /pmb off-mbb switches it off.
Works on Classic Era and WoW Forever. Part of Pint’s Add-ons.
