PIDibs
PIDibs is a Power Infusion helper for Priests, inspired by the old Dibs on Power Infusion WeakAura and rebuilt for the restrictions and API changes that came with Midnight.
The addon works by tracking a configurable list of Buff IDs on players and highlighting those players when the corresponding buffs are active. It then hides all cooldown glows while Power Infusion is on cooldown. By default, most major cooldowns that can be detected this way are included.

Cooldown Tracker
Automatically highlights raid frames when DPS players activate major offensive cooldowns, making it easy to see who is ready for Power Infusion.
- Skips tanks and healers
- Monitor raid, party, or both
- Configurable list of Buff IDs to track
- Multiple glow styles: full overlay, border, or pixel
Focus
Set a friendly DPS player as your focus and PIDibs watches them specifically.
When your focused player activates a tracked cooldown, PIDibs alerts you without requiring you to scan the entire group.
Overlay-only mode can display the player's name on screen instead of highlighting a raid frame.
Whispers
If a listed player whispers you while you're in combat, PIDibs can alert you automatically.
- Optional sound
- Optional on-screen player name
- Use a priority list or a rotating sequence
- Designed for players who actively request Power Infusion
Extras
- Combat-only mode
- Only while PI is ready option
- Early-request grace window for players who request PI just before it becomes available
- Custom Buff IDs
- Multiple glow styles
- Configurable raid/party monitoring
FAQ
Why can't I have a sound played when someone pops a cooldown?
Due to Midnight addon restrictions, PIDibs cannot reliably prevent a sound from playing based on whether Power Infusion is currently on cooldown.
A sound triggered by a tracked cooldown would therefore play regardless of whether PI is available or on cooldown. This would result in unnecessary alerts when you cannot actually use PI, so PIDibs does not provide sound alerts for cooldown activations.
This restriction does not apply to whisper alerts, so sounds are supported when a player directly whispers you.
Why isn't Example Cooldown Here tracked?
The cooldown needs to provide a Buff ID on the player that PIDibs can detect.
Because of Midnight addon restrictions, addons cannot see friendly players' cast events in combat. This means PIDibs cannot simply detect that an ally pressed a particular spell.
If a cooldown does not apply a detectable buff to the player, there is nothing for PIDibs to track.
Examples include:
- Summon Darkglare for Affliction Warlocks
- Ray of Frost for Frost Mages
If a cooldown applies a detectable buff to the player, you can add its Buff ID to PIDibs to track it.
