PickLock

PickLock is a lockpicking workflow addon created for rogues providing lockpicking services in World of Warcraft Classic: The Burning Crusade.

When several players trade you multiple lockboxes, it can quickly become difficult to remember which box belongs to whom. PickLock organizes the entire process into clear jobs, tracks the original owner of traded boxes, and helps you return each unlocked box to the correct player.

How It Works

1. A player trades locked boxes to your rogue.
2. PickLock records the player and the received boxes as a new job.
3. Use the addon to process the next locked box in the queue.
4. After unlocking the boxes, trade with the original player again.
5. PickLock helps identify the correct unlocked box that should be returned.
6. You review and confirm the trade manually.

Safe and Manual Trade Workflow

PickLock does not automatically accept trades.

The addon helps organize the workflow and identifies the correct items, but the player always remains in control of the final trade confirmation.

PickLock also does not automatically open or loot lockboxes. It is designed to unlock boxes and return them to their owners.

Important Limitation

Boxes that were already present in your bags before PickLock recorded their trade cannot be assigned to an owner retroactively.

For reliable owner tracking, receive new lockboxes through the trade window while PickLock is enabled.

Controls
