Pewpew Chat

A lightweight, standalone group chat feed and whisper notification addon, built with controller users in mind. Keep party chatter easy to follow and incoming whispers easy to spot without reaching for a mouse.

Settings

Type /pchat to open settings. Use Unlock frames / show previews to display sample messages and drag both frames into place, then Lock frames / finish preview when you are done.

Both displays start locked on login. New installs place group chat beside the party frame’s top-right corner and whispers above the main chat box. Dragging either display saves a custom position.

Reset Position restores that display’s default anchor. Reset Size restores its default scale, height and font size. These buttons keep your enabled and locked states unchanged.

Compatibility

No dependencies. Separate Retail and WoW Forever packages are provided; download the package matching your client.

Group Chat appears in small parties and hides while solo or in raids. Whispers work both solo and grouped. Conversation contents are not saved across reloads. Long whisper previews may be clipped at the selected card height.
