PetGuardian is a lightweight World of Warcraft addon that keeps your favorite battle pet by your side—automatically, reliably, and without micromanagement. Whether you’re a collector, a role‑player, or just someone who enjoys adventuring with a companion, PetGuardian ensures your chosen buddy is always out when you want it.

✨Features

Character‑Specific Buddy

Assign a unique battle pet per character using /buddy <Name>.

Specialization‑Specific Buddy

Set different pets for each specialization using /buddyspec <Name>. Perfect for players who want different companions for different roles or themes.

Auto‑Summon & Monitoring

Your chosen pet is summoned on login and re‑checked every 15 seconds to ensure it stays active.

Favorites & Shuffle Modes

Use your Pet Journal favorites to summon random pets or rotate through them on a timer.

🔧Commands

Basic Buddy Commands

• /buddy <Name> Sets and summons your chosen buddy (nickname or base name).
• /buddyshow Displays the currently saved buddy for this character.
• /buddyclear Clears the saved buddy and stops the 15‑second monitoring.

Favorites & Shuffle

• /buddyfavorites Summons a random favorite from your Pet Journal and continues monitoring.
• /buddyshuffle <interval> Rotates through your favorite pets automatically. Minimum interval: 10 seconds.

Specialization‑Specific Buddies

• /buddyspec <Name> Saves a buddy for your current specialization.
• /buddyshowspec Lists all saved spec buddies.
• /buddyclearspec Clears the buddy assigned to your current specialization
• /buddyclearall Clears all specialization buddies and the default buddy.

📃Notes

• /buddy <Name> AND /buddyspec <Name> accept both nicknames and base pet names. Examples: /buddy White Kitten OR /buddy Kysena
• /buddyshuffle requires at least 10 seconds. Example: /buddyshuffle 90 → rotates favorites every 1 minute 30 seconds.
