PetCage-Reborn (Midnight Ready)

PetCage-Reborn is a maintained continuation of the original PetCage addon, updated to work with World of Warcraft: Midnight (12.x).

This version resolves compatibility issues introduced by Blizzard API changes and improves overall stability and performance.

Key Improvements:
- Compatible with WoW 12.x (Midnight)
- Removes reliance on system chat parsing (fixes secret string errors)
- Only cages pets that are actually eligible
- Stable batching (no repeated spam or FPS drops)
- Safer handling of Pet Journal updates

Behavior:
- Automatically detects duplicate pets
- Cages only valid, tradable, non-favorited level 1 pets
- Prevents re-processing loops during active batches

Slash Command:
/petcage — manually trigger duplicate caging

This project exists to keep the addon functional for current expansions.  
If the original author returns and resumes updates, this project will defer to the original.
