Pet Arrow

Replaces your pet's nameplate with a clean, customizable arrow so you can always see where your pet is.

Instead of a health bar and name floating above your pet, you get a single arrow marker. It only appears on your pet.

FEATURES

- Arrow marker above your pet, anchored to its nameplate
- Hides your pet's nameplate (optional)
- Hides the nameplates of allied players' pets (optional). Enemy pets keep their nameplate
- Adjustable size, opacity and X/Y offset
- Custom color with a full color picker
- Frame strata control, so the arrow can sit behind your UI panels or in front of them
- Click the value label above any slider to type an exact number
- Settings are saved between sessions

USAGE

Type /petarrow to open the settings window. While it is open, a preview arrow is shown on screen so you can adjust it even without a pet nearby.

NOTES

- The arrow only works on your own pet, not on other players' pets, guardians or totems.
- The arrow is anchored to the pet's nameplate, so it will not show if the pet is out of draw range or hidden behind terrain. In some instances Blizzard limits friendly nameplates.
- On login the addon enables Blizzard's "Show Friendly Pets" nameplate setting (nameplateShowFriendlyPets), which is required to anchor the arrow. Allied pet nameplates are then hidden by the addon unless you turn that option off.
