Pet Abandon Confirm
Description
Pet Abandon Confirm is a lightweight World of Warcraft addon designed to prevent accidental pet abandonment. This addon introduces a confirmation dialog that requires players to type "Abandon" to confirm their intent to abandon their pet. This simple yet effective safeguard ensures that you don't lose your beloved pet by mistake.
Features
Confirmation Dialog: Prompts the user to type "Abandon" in a text box to confirm pet abandonment.
Clear Feedback: Displays coloured messages in the chat to inform you of the abandonment status (success, cancellation, or errors).
Non-Intrusive: Only activates when you attempt to abandon a pet, keeping your gameplay uninterrupted.
Lightweight: Minimal impact on game performance with a simple and clean design.
How It Works
When you attempt to abandon your pet, the addon will:
-
Check if you have a pet active.
-
Display a popup dialog asking you to type "Abandon" to confirm.
-
If you type "Abandon" correctly and click "Confirm," the pet is abandoned, and a success message is shown.
-
If you mistype or click "Cancel," the abandonment is cancelled, and a message is displayed.
-
If no pet is active, a message informs you that there is no pet to abandon.
