Description

Patchworks

Patchworks is a living completion codex and guided return path for World of Warcraft Retail 12.1: Curse of Ula'tek and The Coiled Isle.

It is built for completionists, returning players, and seasonal players who want one clear answer to three questions: what is left, what should I do next, and where do I go?

What Patchworks includes

  • A searchable Completion Codex for campaign chapters, optional stories, side quests, exploration, lore objects, skyriding glyphs, rares, treasures, activities, delves, instances, Season 2, and PvP objectives.
  • Live progress derived from Blizzard quest and achievement APIs instead of a separate manual checklist.
  • A Home briefing with Resume Campaign and six Fastest Completion priorities.
  • Expandable objectives that reveal their real criteria and incomplete steps.
  • Location cards with map previews and one-click waypoints where reliable coordinates are available.
  • Native Blizzard waypoints and optional TomTom support, selectable in the Profile Workshop.
  • A compact objective tracker, achievement progress popups, and a dedicated layout mode.
  • Guided, Completionist, and Minimal presets plus 12 px and 14 px interface text modes.
  • A visual in-game update history for every public build.

Getting started

Open Patchworks from its green relic on the minimap or type /pw.

  • Left-click the minimap relic to open the full Codex.
  • Right-click it to toggle the Compact Tracker.
  • Use /pw layout to position Patchworks helper windows.
  • Use /pw version to check the installed addon and data version.

Patchworks stores progress preferences account-wide where appropriate and does not contact external services while World of Warcraft is running.

Optional integration

TomTom is optional. Without it, Patchworks uses Blizzard's native user waypoints whenever the client exposes a reliable map location.

Beta note

This is an active beta. Objective coverage and route guidance are continuously verified against the live 12.1 client. Some objectives intentionally show no waypoint when Blizzard does not expose a reliable fixed location.

Patchworks is an independent fan-made addon and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Blizzard Entertainment.
