Parchment Reader

Parchment Reader is an in-game library for text you want to keep around while playing WoW.

Use it for roleplay stories, character journals, dungeon tactics, guild plans, housing ideas, or anything else that does not fit comfortably into chat or a macro.

Create books, sort them into collections, add bookmarks, and continue reading from where you stopped. The reader can be resized, switched to Compact Mode, or minimized to a small movable book icon.

Opening the reader

• Click the minimap button
• Type /reader or /pr
• Assign a key in WoW Key Bindings

Right-click the minimap button to open settings.
Ctrl-click it to open Quick Note.

Compatibility

The same download supports Retail, Mists of Pandaria Classic, Burning Crusade Classic Anniversary, and Classic Era.

Parchment Reader has no required dependencies.

Saved data

Books and settings are stored locally in ParchmentReaderDB. Back up your WTF folder if you reinstall WoW or move to another computer.
