PALS FOR LIFE - CHANGELOG
Deutsch: Die deutsche Versionshistorie findest du in VERSIONSHISTORIE.txt.
Current version: 1.0.0 | Updated: 2026-09-23 | Dates: YYYY-MM-DD
Entries describe their respective release. Earlier test data, names and
limitations may have been superseded. README.txt describes the current state.
Every previous version is retained. VERSIONSHISTORIE.txt also preserves the
original German history through 0.9.7-beta without changes.
1.0.0 (2026-09-23)
------------------
First release build, accepted in-game on WoW Forever Beta 1.60.1 build 69977.
- Five-Paladin Command Center with blessing planning, live profiles, manual
player overrides and a dedicated aura row. Aura names remain clean, and
unlearned auras are shown as unavailable instead of being selectable.
- BuffDock with class-colored blessing slots, remaining times, combat-safe
preparation and the permanent leftmost aura tile. Righteous Fury moves
independently to the left or right and keeps its own timer and status.
- Special Buffs window for real player-specific overrides, with matching class
colors, spell icons, status borders, remaining times and secure right-click
casting for your own assignments.
- The Command Center's Special Buffs button now has a localized tooltip that
explains it opens the additional dock for configured special cases.
- The tooltip uses the Forever-compatible GameTooltip call signature.
- Aura clicks, green active borders, neutral "None" handling and the complete
aura layout were accepted in-game. `/pflsynctest` reports 19 OK, 0 errors and
1 notice; a dedicated two-client aura test remains a later roadmap item.
- Two-column Options window with independent scales for Command Center,
BuffDock, Special Buffs and Buff Monitor; German and English interface.
- Addon-list Paladin icon, saved window placement/state handling, diagnostics,
solver lab, combat freeze and multi-client plan synchronization.
- Documentation is now maintained in all four files: README.txt,
LIESMICH.txt, CHANGELOG.txt and VERSIONSHISTORIE.txt.
- Roadmap: seal assignment/monitoring, Greater Blessings and the dedicated
two-client in-combat rebuff test.
0.10.1-beta (2026-09-22)
------------------------
Aura layout and Command Center polish.
- Removed the stray `v` marker from the Command Center aura selector. The
selected aura name now remains clean for every Paladin and every selection.
- Kept the aura tile permanently at the far left of the BuffDock self-buff
area. The Fury position option now moves only Righteous Fury: aura, Fury,
classes on the left; aura, classes, Fury on the right.
- Renamed the position option and related messages so they describe Fury only.
- Updated the release documentation and version to 0.10.1-beta.
0.10.0-beta (2026-09-22)
------------------------
Aura assignments, five Paladins and complete bilingual documentation.
- Five Paladin columns in Command Center, with aura selection and status below
the names and a gold divider above the nine class rows. Width remains 900;
height increases by 64 to 673 UI units.
- One manual aura per Paladin in the shared plan. AUTO only replans blessings
and preserves aura choices. The same group permissions apply, outside combat
only. Confirmed unlearned auras are disabled; unknown capabilities are marked.
- New 56 x 88 aura tile between Fury and class blessings. Both boundaries use
identical spacing and fine gold dividers. Fury/aura share left or mirrored
right placement. Paladins retain the aura tile when Fury is hidden.
Class dimensions and BuffDock height are preserved.
- Secure left-click casts the assigned own aura using the actual client spell
name regardless of PFL language. Assigning does not cast. Clicking an active
aura again may deactivate it through normal client toggle behavior.
- Status checks each Paladin's personally activated aura using out-of-combat
stance information and rank-independent client spell names. Fallback requires
an explicitly self-sourced aura; receiving another Paladin's aura does not
confirm personal activation.
- Green means active; pulsing red means missing/wrong; gray means unknown,
unavailable, dead, offline or unassigned. During combat, ~ marks the last
safe state. A confirmed aura cast initially makes status unknown because
cast success alone cannot distinguish activation from deactivation.
- No aura/stance reads, protected layout changes or new click assignments in
combat. Full reconciliation follows after combat.
- Extended protocol-2 plans synchronize auras with blessings. Legacy plans
without aura fields preserve existing assignments. Paladins separately
report their own aura state and capabilities; only authenticated roster
Paladins are accepted. State expires after 75 seconds, capabilities after 300.
- Invalid/incomplete plans are never applied partially. Sender permissions are
rechecked after combat before applying buffered plans. The sync self-test
restores the aura plan as well as the existing state.
- Fifth Paladin supported throughout roster, solver, planning, player overrides,
Special Buffs and sync. Added a five-Paladin Solver Lab scenario and expanded
capability stress tests to one through five Paladins.
- README and CHANGELOG entirely English; LIESMICH and VERSIONSHISTORIE German,
with prominent reciprocal language notices. Both histories include every
previous version. Package: 19 Lua files, TOC and four documents only.
- Automated checks outside the game passed for aura integration, five Paladins,
language, sync permissions, combat boundaries, solver and existing buff
windows/settings. Actual Forever testing of the new layout, aura clicks and
aura synchronization remains pending.
- Deferred SavedVariables loading issue unresolved. Seals, Greater Blessings
and the targeted two-client in-combat rebuff test remain open.
0.9.7-beta (2026-09-21)
------------------------
Addon icon, extended window restoration and storage diagnostics.
- Addon list uses the same Paladin icon as the minimap button.
- Command Center saves open/closed state and position; scale is applied after
settings load.
- Minimap applies saved position, radius and visibility at ADDON_LOADED and
world entry.
- New /pflsavecheck checks whether the previous reload/logout marker was loaded,
including its counter and last version. NO is normal without an earlier
marker. The diagnostic does not force or repair saving.
- Known limitation: observed Forever beta SavedVariables loading issue persists.
The inspected save file contains window/minimap values that do not reach the
addon after /reload. Without loaded values only defaults are available.
Investigation is deferred at the user's request; these changes do not fix it.
Documentation and packaging addendum for the same version:
- Updated README with German/English installation, controls, Special Buffs,
timers, options, sync, combat behavior and commands.
- Restored missing entries from 0.9.4-test through 0.9.7-beta; all earlier
existing history retained unchanged.
- Recorded six follow-ups: timers and test-entry removal done; seals, auras,
Greater Blessings and targeted two-client in-combat rebuff testing still open.
- README and changelog had mistakenly been excluded during package cleanup
since 0.9.4 and were not maintained. Both restored for every future release.
- Corrected package contains 21 files: current PalsForLife runtime, README.txt
and CHANGELOG.txt; no working copies, backups, local tests or old ZIPs.
- This addendum changes no runtime file or gameplay function.
0.9.6-beta (2026-09-21)
------------------------
Regular Special Buffs without test data; improved restoration.
- Removed both fictional entries and TEST labels; only real effective player
overrides remain.
- BuffDock and Special Buffs restore saved open/closed states at ADDON_LOADED
and PLAYER_ENTERING_WORLD, no longer exclusively relying on PLAYER_LOGIN.
- Combat-blocked restoration stays queued until combat ends. Intentionally
closed windows stay closed.
- BuffDock position, size and locking reapplied after settings load.
- An open empty Special Buffs window remains open with an empty-state notice.
- These addon restoration changes do not fix the client loading issue later
investigated in 0.9.7.
0.9.5-test (2026-09-21)
------------------------
Special Buffs with status, remaining time and own spell actions.
- Renamed German Sonderaufträge to Sonderbuffs, English Special Buffs,
including Options and Command Center.
- Green, pulsing yellow and red status borders plus remaining times from the
same BuffEngine as BuffDock.
- Own Special Buffs support prepared secure right-click; both docks share
preparation and cast confirmation.
- BuffDock shows shortest known time per class. In combat, ~ marks time
projected from the last safe snapshot or confirmed cast. Actual aura state
is reconciled after combat.
- Assignments and prepared actions fixed in combat; no new aura reads or
protected layout changes.
- Other Paladins' entries remain display-only. The two test entries still in
this version remain neutral without spell actions; removed in 0.9.6-beta.
0.9.4-test (2026-09-21)
------------------------
Narrower Special Assignments and two-column Options.
- Width reduced 344 to 196 units; title PFL - Sonderaufträge / PFL - Special
Assignments.
- More compact names, filter, OVR/TEST and credits; retained class colors,
blessing icons and 88-pixel tiles.
- Independent scale slider under window sizes, 0.40 to 1.20. Copies previous
BuffDock scale once, then saves independently.
- Options: language, minimap and window sizes left; BuffDock behavior with
locking/expiration warning and Righteous Fury right.
- Height reduced 965 to 728 units; automatic fitting for smaller screens.
- ZIP restricted to current runtime files. README/changelog were mistakenly
excluded too; the 0.9.7-beta addendum corrects this and restores both.
0.9.3-test (2026-09-21)
------------------------
Special Assignments in vertical BuffDock style.
- Same RGB class colors, dark background, gold frames, font objects,
action-bar icons and black caption band as BuffDock.
- 88-pixel tile per assignment, 4-pixel gaps; recipient class, index, blessing
icon, Paladin, recipient and blessing.
- Wider than class slots to keep both names legible; full details in tooltips.
- Scale follows BuffDock slider, 0.40 to 1.20.
- Top edge fixed as entries move up. Scrolling beyond six visible tiles;
smaller screens further constrain visible count.
- OVR/TEST identifies entry source, not buff status.
- No new buff checks or spell actions; both test assignments, shared data
source and All/Only me filter retained.
- BuffEngine.lua, Assignment.lua, Sync.lua and other gameplay logic unchanged.
0.9.2-test (2026-09-21)
------------------------
Test build of the vertical Special Assignments dock.
- New movable window for individual player blessing overrides.
- Command Center and dock use the same canonical effective assignments.
- All/Only me filter; open through Command Center Special Assignments,
/pfloverrides or /pflovr.
- Two static test rows follow real overrides:
Hephinchen -> Salvation -> AufsMaul (Fury Warrior DPS);
Rotos -> Might -> Baertram (Druid tank).
- A real override occupies position 1; removing it moves test rows 2/3 to 1/2.
0.9.1-beta (2026-09-21)
------------------------
Live localization hotfix.
- 0.9.0 could save/display a manual language while some existing windows
retained client language: SavedVariables loaded after static UI creation.
- Central text bindings/module refreshes introduced. Saved language reapplied
at ADDON_LOADED; manual changes update all PFL views immediately.
- Command Center, Options, Monitor, profiles, solver/diagnostics, headers,
class/profile labels and other static text rebound or rerendered.
- Gameplay fix separates PFL display language and WoW client language.
Aura matching and secure casts use actual client spell names; fallback
follows client locale too, not selected UI language.
- Fixes live-observed active German Blessing of Might appearing MISSING
under English PFL.
- Full German/English key sets remain mirrored; N/A stays language-neutral.
0.9.0-beta (2026-09-21)
------------------------
Localization foundation for international use.
- Central German/English display logic. GetLocale() selects German for deDE;
enUS/enGB and other clients fall back to English.
- Automatic/Deutsch/English option. Switching performs controlled UI reload
so windows are consistently rebuilt.
- /pfllocale auto|de|en|status allows testing English UI on a German client.
- Localized Command Center, Options, BuffDock/Monitor, profiles, minimap,
About, sync/self-test and diagnostic/lab windows.
- Class, blessing, profile, status, tooltip and main chat text bilingual.
N/A deliberately identical.
- Spell IDs, blessing keys, solver, sync and secure actions stay language-neutral,
intended to keep localization separate from gameplay.
- Compact English labels fitted to frame widths.
- Class-slot remaining time not implemented in this build; follows separately
after localization approval.
0.8.14-beta (2026-09-21)
-------------------------
Persistence/usability follow-up for functional Fury.
- BuffDock visibility saved in SavedVariables; an open dock returns after
/reload at its saved position.
- Fury UNAVAILABLE displayed as neutral N/A in slot/tooltip, also suitable
for later German localization.
- Fury detection, secure cast, tank automation, geometry and class buff
logic unchanged.
0.8.13-beta (2026-09-21)
-------------------------
Approved Righteous Fury preview becomes a functional self-buff module.
- Preserved appearance/geometry. Display Automatic/Always/Off.
- Manual PFL tank profile takes priority; otherwise automatic detection uses
UnitGroupRolesAssigned("player") == TANK.
- Saved left/right placement adjustable outside combat.
- Own warning time: default 5 minutes, range 1 to 30.
- Actual aura detection by spell ID 25780, independent of DE/EN names.
- Prepared SecureActionButton left-click self-casts on player.
Only UNIT_SPELLCAST_SUCCEEDED confirms success.
- Remaining time and OK/SOON/MISSING/DUE/OFF/UNKNOWN, pulsing for SOON/action
required using existing BuffDock styling.
- No combat aura reads. Last safe expiration counts down locally and can
become DUE during COMBAT_FROZEN.
- Auto-hiding restores the unchanged nine-class block width; Fury remains
visually distinct.
- DE/EN localization and class-slot timers remain planned for the later
0.9.0 stage.
0.8.12-preview (2026-09-21)
----------------------------
- Fury remains graphics-only without gameplay functionality.
- Options now switch preview Left/Right. Right exactly mirrors approved layout:
nine classes, slightly wider spacing, gold divider, Fury.
- Side saved in SavedVariables; Defaults restores Left.
- Switching blocked in combat because secure class slots must be repositioned.
- No aura, timer, tank detection or casting functionality added.
0.8.11-preview (2026-09-21)
----------------------------
- Graphics-only planned Fury self-buff preview left of nine-class block;
deliberately narrower, with gap and fine gold divider.
- Static example 24:37, no real timer/aura functionality.
- No secure cast, tank detection, options or gameplay change.
- For visual approval before planned 0.9.0 implementation only.
0.8.10-beta (2026-09-21)
-------------------------
Layout follow-up after successful 58-minute live test.
- Options extended vertically; BuffDock Behavior moved down with the same
spacing as other sections.
- Warning time, combat notice and plan sync cleanly separated again;
footer/buttons retain adequate space.
- Regular range 1 to 30 minutes, default 12. Temporary 0.8.9-test with
58-minute maximum discontinued.
- Automatic OK -> SOON transition from 0.8.9 unchanged and confirmed live
while counting 59 -> 58 minutes.
0.8.9-beta (2026-09-21)
------------------------
Forever fix for automatic expiration-warning transitions.
- 0.8.8 live finding: moving warning slider updated correctly, but simply
counting past threshold could stay OK without another event.
- Replaced unreferenced C_Timer.NewTicker core clock with persistent frame
OnUpdate heartbeat evaluating cached timestamps every 0.5 seconds.
- Safe scan caches duration/expiration as ordinary numbers instead of later
depending on raw Forever aura fields.
- Threshold crossing out of combat requests safe rescan; dock, queue and
Monitor automatically switch to EXPIRING/SOON.
- COMBAT_FROZEN unchanged, no additional combat aura reads.
- Temporary 58-minute test succeeded: natural countdown changed OK to SOON
without user action.
- Options cleaned up with proper gap between BuffDock scale and Behavior.
0.8.8-beta (2026-09-21)
------------------------
Expiration warning cleanup and time-based state changes.
- Lower Options reordered; warning time, sync and combat notice no longer overlap.
- Clearer option name: Warning time before blessing expiration.
- Default 12 minutes, range 1 to 30.
- Automatic OK -> EXPIRING/SOON when cached expiration reaches threshold;
no UNIT_AURA needed.
- Uses only safely cached expiration and requests normal full scan on crossing;
no additional combat aura reads.
- Monitor updates out-of-combat remaining time from same cached timestamp.
0.8.7-beta (2026-09-21)
------------------------
Practical expiring-blessing default.
- Raised SOON warning default from 1 to 12 minutes so even long boss fights
start with timely refreshed blessings and less in-combat rebuff pressure.
- Range remains 1 to 30.
- Existing 0.8.6 untouched exact one-minute default migrated once to 12;
other custom values preserved.
- Options Defaults now also restores 12 minutes.
0.8.6-beta (2026-09-21)
------------------------
Warning threshold and scaling flexibility.
- New BuffDock SOON threshold, 1 to 30 minutes. Default remains 1 to avoid
silently changing behavior.
- Controls EXPIRING/SOON in dock/Monitor and expected EXPIRING during combat freeze.
- No additional combat aura reads; safe freeze architecture unchanged.
- Minimum scale 0.55 -> 0.40; default 0.72 and maximum 1.20 unchanged.
0.8.5-beta (2026-09-21)
------------------------
BuffDock focus and header polish.
- FULLSCREEN_DIALOG and SetToplevel let clicks bring dock forward like large windows.
- Small gold X added to existing header. Closes outside combat; safely blocked
under Combat Lockdown because dock contains protected buttons.
- No widening or changes to approved slot, color or pulse styling.
0.8.4-beta (2026-09-21)
------------------------
UI consistency and window focus.
- Unified large-window headers: title, version, colored author/guild line,
thin gold divider following Options.
- Large windows share FULLSCREEN_DIALOG and SetToplevel; clicking brings one
forward as on Windows/macOS.
- User-facing name standardized as BuffDock. Internal legacy names and /pflpad
retained for compatibility.
- Approved BuffDock appearance unchanged.
0.8.3-beta - 2026-09-21
-----------------------
Forever button-style compatibility hotfix.
- Forever 1.60.1 rejects SetNormalTexture(nil) and related UIPanelButtonTemplate
calls with Lua errors.
- Command Center/Options hide existing Normal/Pushed/Disabled/Highlight and
Left/Middle/Right template textures through alpha.
- Compact 0.8.2 BuffDock look preserved.
- No changes to dock, secure casts, combat freeze, sync, solver or profiles.
0.8.2-beta - 2026-09-21
-----------------------
Controls and styling around the approved BuffDock design.
- Simplified minimap: left-click Command Center, right-click toggle BuffDock;
Alt + right-click Monitor, Shift + right-click Options.
- Removed old minimap combinations for profiles, API diagnostics and Solver Lab;
all remain directly available in Command Center.
- Command Center/Options use very dark background, fine gold lines, narrow
frames and compact technical buttons instead of heavy red standard styling.
- Unlearned assignments remain clearly red; capability/blocker logic unchanged.
- BuffDock itself unchanged visually/functionally; no secure-cast, freeze,
sync, solver or profile changes.
0.8.1-beta - 2026-09-20
-----------------------
Small credits update.
- 0.8.0 BuffDock appearance deliberately unchanged.
- Header now also shows "by Leandarh Valinor".
- No layout, slot-size, color, status, secure-cast, combat-freeze, sync,
solver or profile changes.
0.8.0-beta - 2026-09-20
-----------------------
Major BuffDock styling: 3 x 3 test grid becomes compact action bar.
- Nine fixed horizontal class slots for consistent controls and raid muscle memory.
- Central assigned/prepared blessing icon, falling back to class icon if no action.
- Saturated class header and small class icon; absent classes clearly dimmed.
- Top-right count of present players per class.
- Blessing/action and prepared target below icon; full details in tooltip.
- Thin status border: OK green, MISSING red, SOON yellow, FROZEN blue-gray,
unknown/unlearned orange, offline gray.
- Subtle pulses for MISSING, SOON and REFRESH DUE preserve class colors.
- Header shows operating state, lock and right-click instructions.
- Existing secure right-click, manual refresh, freeze, combat-start drag
cancellation and saved position/scale behavior preserved.
- Intended as main Paladin buff bar without duplicate normal action-bar blessings.
- Multi-client protocol, solver, profiles and aura reads unchanged.
0.7.7-beta - 2026-09-20
-----------------------
Further remote-capability matching fixes in real two-client tests.
- First 0.7.6 live test still lacked some remote "not learned" notices;
UI changes alone were insufficient.
- Sync normalizes Name, Name-Realm and Forever's separated-realm display
variant, matching CAP packets more reliably to roster Paladins.
- /pflsync caps reports source and Might/Wisdom/Kings/Salvation/Light knowledge.
- Last unmatched CAP rejection reason retained for diagnostics.
- Assignment-cell tooltip shows assignment, capability and source: local
spellbook, PFL sync or unknown.
- Snapshot/CAST protocol, secure dock, aura scans, freeze and profiles unchanged.
0.7.6-beta - 2026-09-20
-----------------------
Remote capability display corrected during real two-client tests.
- Two live PFL Paladins recognized one another and exchanged capabilities.
- Validation/AUTO already used remote capabilities; Command Center had only
displayed local "not learned".
- Cells now use direct local spell knowledge or synchronized remote knowledge.
Confirmed unlearned remote blessings appear on the other client too.
- Unknown remote capabilities make no false claim; validation retains
unconfirmed-capability notices.
- Sync protocol, secure dock, scan, freeze, profiles and rebuff/CAST logic unchanged.
0.7.5-beta - 2026-09-20
-----------------------
In-combat rebuff logic and cast synchronization.
- Last safely observed assigned-blessing expiration counts down locally during
COMBAT_FROZEN, without C_UnitAuras reads.
- Past confirmed expiration shows REFRESH DUE rather than MISSING: only the
last known instance expired; unknown external refresh remains possible.
- Options toggle one-time in-combat expected-expiration notice to responsible
local Paladin.
- Prepared right-click stays usable; no combat secure-attribute changes.
- Right-click registers attempt before protected action. Only matching
UNIT_SPELLCAST_SUCCEEDED confirms rebuff and resets expected timer;
failed/interrupted casts do not.
- Confirmed rebuffs relayed as CAST. Receivers verify Paladin sender, roster
target and matching assignment.
- /pflsync status shows latest accepted CAST blessing, target, Paladin and age
for direct two-client checking.
- Known duration transmitted; unknown duration confirms cast without invented timer.
- Three new self-tests: valid relay, duration, mismatched-assignment rejection.
- PLAYER_REGEN_ENABLED actual rescan replaces all combat expectations.
- With several class members, a class button can cast only its pre-combat target;
another due player is marked "not prepared".
0.7.4-beta - 2026-09-20
-----------------------
Controls and About polish before two-client tests.
- About and single-client sync-test windows movable; positions saved in PalsForLifeDB.
- Both remain FULLSCREEN_DIALOG/clamped, draggable from free background/header.
- About author line deliberately two lines, preventing lone smiley wrapping.
- Leandarh Valinor in Warlock color, Try Again Forever gold.
- About client baseline separated into version/build/interface.
- README documents window dragging and saved positions.
- No changes to protocol, BuffEngine, solver, profiles, aura scans, dock or freeze.
0.7.3-beta - 2026-09-20
-----------------------
Cosmetics/documentation before real two-client tests.
- Leandarh Valinor in Warlock color in About/Options; guild subtly gold in credits.
- Removed visible Cursive/minimap inspiration note from About/README.
- Neutral internal minimap comments; no functional change.
- README reflects live-confirmed 0.7.2: 16 OK / 0 errors / 1 notice in local
sync test, real state restored afterward, COMBAT_FROZEN trouble-free with
test window open.
- Protocol, engine, solver, profiles, aura scans, secure dock and freeze unchanged.
0.7.2-beta - 2026-09-20
-----------------------
Single-client sync self-test and About.
- Local self-test through /pflsynctest and Options uses actual serializer,
normal parser, authorization/validation and apply path.
- Tests class assignment, blessing/player-profile overrides, mode, wrong
protocol, unauthorized sender, invalid/incomplete snapshots and combat
buffering/application afterward.
- No real messages sent; plan/profile/sync state restored after test.
- Shared Sync.lua combat-buffer apply function for live event and self-test.
- Dedicated OK/ERROR/INFO result window.
- Paladin-styled About with version, Forever client, description, credits,
author/guild line.
- Options also displays author/guild: Created by Leandarh Valinor, currently
active in "Try Again Forever" in WoW Forever :)
- Added Sync Self-Test and About buttons.
- README expanded for local test, About, commands and beta status.
- Real two-client network transport unconfirmed at this stage; next major test.
0.7.1-beta - 2026-09-20
-----------------------
Documentation/handoff before first real multi-client test.
- README fully updated; obsolete initial PaladinProbe description removed
as main content.
- Controls, minimap, options, profiles, dock, freeze, permissions, persistence
and sync documented, plus explicit two-client plan for external testers.
- Known limitations separated from live-confirmed core paths.
- CHANGELOG cleaned, chronological and consistently German at this version.
- Core.lua in-game history aligned with file history.
- Solver, engine, aura scan, secure buttons, profiles and protocol unchanged.
0.7.0-beta - 2026-09-20
-----------------------
First multi-client synchronization.
- Shared PARTY/RAID plans for class assignments, individual blessing overrides
and manual live-profile overrides.
- Paladins report learned-blessing capability masks for remote solver verification.
- Only group leaders or raid leaders/assistants distribute authoritative plans;
unauthorized snapshots rejected.
- Combat snapshots buffered until PLAYER_REGEN_ENABLED.
- /pflsync, Command Center Sync button and Options sync toggle.
- Secure dock, aura scan and freeze architecture unchanged.
- Real two-client test still pending for this build.
0.6.13-beta - 2026-09-20
------------------------
- Corrected Solver Lab scenario 1: Might only assigned to suitable profiles,
no longer every class.
- No solver, engine, aura-scan, secure-button or freeze behavior change.
0.6.12-beta - 2026-09-20
------------------------
- Live manually selected Druid healer remains UNASSIGNED with Might-only Paladin.
- Ranged Hunters and healer/caster profiles no longer receive Might as filler;
Hunter class policy also drops Might fallback.
- New regression tests explicitly require NONE for unsuitable Might-only cases.
- Self-test 134/134 passed; secure-dock drag fix and aura/combat state machine unchanged.
0.6.11-beta - 2026-09-20
------------------------
- Live profiles extended to all nine initial classes.
- Hunter DPS automatically ranged; Rogue melee.
- Priest healer/caster, Mage and Warlock caster.
- Shaman healer automatic; DPS deliberately PROFILE UNCLEAR until manual
Enhancement/Elemental selection. Druid DPS remains Cat/Moonkin ambiguous.
- Removed Sanctuary from active planner, solver and overrides because current
Forever client does not expose it as an available planner blessing.
- Hunter priorities reflect Forever Might: not a useful ranged fallback.
- Tank profiles without Sanctuary; Salvation still strictly forbidden.
0.6.10-beta - 2026-09-20
------------------------
Critical BuffDock drag safety fix.
- Combat beginning during drag stops it at PLAYER_REGEN_DISABLED before lockdown.
- Prevents protected dock sticking to cursor and blocking clicks until logout.
- OnDragStop no longer calls StopMovingOrSizing in lockdown.
- Live confirmed: stops at combat start and moves normally after combat.
0.6.9-beta - 2026-09-20
-----------------------
- BuffDock movable out of combat; position saved in PalsForLifeDB.
- Lock BuffDock checkbox added; locking/movement blocked during combat.
0.6.8-beta - 2026-09-20
-----------------------
- Options raised to FULLSCREEN_DIALOG and explicitly brought forward on opening,
preventing normal addon/unit frames covering it.
- Bottom notice moved outside button row and properly bounded.
0.6.7-beta - 2026-09-20
-----------------------
- Central Options window: minimap visibility/radius/angle and persistent
Command Center, Monitor and BuffDock scale sliders.
- BuffDock scale stored in PalsForLifeDB.
- Open through Command Center, /pfloptions or minimap Shift + right-click.
- Scale changes blocked during combat.
0.6.6-beta - 2026-09-20
-----------------------
- Command Center header adapts to scale; narrow status splits into two lines
and grid/Paladin headers follow.
- Shorter status terms and more compact beta notice.
0.6.5-beta - 2026-09-20
-----------------------
- More compact Command Center.
- Effective Player Assignments replaces cramped standard scroll box with slim
custom scrollbar only on overflow; mouse wheel works directly in field.
- Overlapping controls hint removed.
- Persistent /pflassignsize, default scale 0.90.
0.6.4-beta - 2026-09-20
-----------------------
- Fixed Effective Player Assignments Lua error: invalid direct font path
replaced with GameFontHighlightSmall.
0.6.3-beta - 2026-09-20
-----------------------
- Compact Effective Player Assignments: player, class, profile and final
Paladin/blessing source.
- Monitor starts smaller with saved scale; /pflbuffsize presets/free scale.
0.6.2-beta - 2026-09-20
-----------------------
- Minimap radius no longer hardcoded; default 80 -> 92 UI units.
