Palmpilot

Palmpilot plans your route to 60 as you play. It reads your level, quest log and position, then picks the next best step: quests to take, what to kill or loot, where to hand in, and when a short grind beats a long walk.

What's new

Added

  • One sorted bag, off by default: tick "One sorted bag" under Settings > Palmpilot > Bags (or /pp bags on) and the B key, the bag buttons and the merchant, bank and mail windows open one Palmpilot window in place of the game's bags, every slot sorted into sections: quest items, what you can use now (food, drink, potions, bandages, scrolls at your level), gear upgrades (what beats what you wear), gear you can use, gear you cannot use, materials (cloth, leather, ore, herbs, reagents, gems), junk, the rest, and the empty slots; the best quality first within a section. The title counts the free slots, a search box dims what does not match, the money sits at the foot with the junk's worth beside it at a merchant. The items are the game's own bag buttons, so clicking, dragging, splitting, selling and attaching to mail work as before; "Game bags" opens the game's windows for once. Per character.

Fixed

  • With OpenMap installed (its stitched world on the game's map), Palmpilot's pins no longer stop at the edge of the zone the map is on: the guide's steps, quest objectives and hand-ins, available quests, flight masters, innkeepers, mailboxes, repair vendors, trainers and caves of the neighbouring zones in view show where they fall, the way drawn runs on past the zone's edge, and they are drawn again as OpenMap's view moves. The hover areas' border kept its width on OpenMap's zoom (it had shrunk to nothing). Palmpilot's dungeon entrance pins stay off OpenMap's map, which draws its own. Palmpilot's map switches are offered in OpenMap's menu under a Palmpilot heading. Nothing changes without OpenMap, or with OpenMap's map off.
