BlessingWatch
Keep the right blessing on your Paladin. BlessingWatch compares the blessings you have learned with your current stats, applied talents and selected role, then gives you a native spell icon, a clear countdown and an explanation of its recommendation.
For World of Warcraft: Forever 1.60.1 only. Release 0.1.3 targets build 70450, interface 16001. It runs on Paladins and focuses on your own character. Retail, Classic Era, Anniversary and Burning Crusade clients are not supported.
Advice for your build
- Compare learned Blessings of Might, Wisdom and Kings using effective stats and applied talents.
- Let Automatic follow your current talent build, or select Melee, Holy spell damage, Healing or Tanking yourself.
- Change priorities between Balanced, Damage / healing output and Mana sustain.
- Read the reasons behind the recommendation, or pin a learned blessing manually.
- Reevaluate outside combat when gear, talents, learned spells, stats or active buffs change.
- Account for useful blessings from another Paladin and prefer a complementary blessing where their ownership is known.
Recommendations are guidance based on preference weights, not a guaranteed damage or healing maximum. The first release reads English spell descriptions. Incomplete or unavailable information pauses automatic advice instead of inventing a result. Party assignments and emergency blessing decisions remain yours.
Refresh reminders
The countdown follows the blessing actually on you. A red heartbeat draws attention to a confirmed missing or expired blessing during combat: two smooth pulses, then a quiet pause. It clears when the blessing is active or combat ends. An optional sound and a gently pulsing bar can remind you outside combat as well.
Enable Click icon to cast on yourself to apply or refresh the selected blessing with one click. It always targets you, even with a dead or distant enemy selected. Casting still requires your click, sufficient mana and the usual game conditions. The recommendation and protected click action stay fixed during combat and update afterward.
Greater Blessings already on you count as coverage, but BlessingWatch does not cast reagent-consuming Greater Blessings. Light and Sanctuary are manual choices when learned. Temporary Freedom, Protection and Sacrifice pause maintenance reminders; Salvation is not a refresh recommendation.
Match your Paladin UI
- Optional Tarnished gold style, using the same original pointed frame and icon trim as Paladin Seal Watch.
- Holy Gold, Silver Hand and Rose Gold colour themes.
- Flowing light, smooth countdown animation and a Reduce animation option.
- A transparent bar background and a Show HUD text toggle.
- A native scale slider with fine steps, movable position and a lock.
- Optional icon tooltip, refresh sound and configurable warning threshold.
Preferences save separately for each character. BlessingWatch works independently; Paladin Seal Watch is not required.
Get started
Install the BlessingWatch folder inside your Forever client's Interface/AddOns directory and reload. Type /pbw or right-click the HUD to open the recommendation and settings. Choose your role and priority, adjust the appearance, and optionally enable click-to-cast.
/pbw— Open or close settings./pbw unlockand/pbw lock— Move the HUD or lock its position./pbw resetposition— Restore the default position./pbw status— Show addon and client information.
/bw and /blessingwatch remain available as aliases. WoW saves settings on reload, logout or a normal exit.
Forever beta compatibility
When the client restricts buff information in combat, a last-confirmed countdown is marked with ~. An uncertain expiry does not create a false expired-buff alarm. Hidden removals cannot always be detected until readable buff information returns. The addon respects the client's protected actions and does not modify native action bars.
For feedback, include your Forever build, addon version, game language, role/priority and any Lua error text. Please leave out account details and other private information.
