What's new

# PadNav 4.4.8 — Now on Retail!

PadNav now supports **retail World of Warcraft (12.1)** as well as WoW Forever, from **one download**. Same easy controller support, same D-pad menu navigation, and your settings work the same in both games.

## Retail support
- One PadNav folder works in both games. Install to `_retail_\Interface\AddOns\` or `_forever_\Interface\AddOns\`.
- **New:** first time on retail? Turn on the game's controller support with `/console GamePadEnable 1`, then `/reload`.
- **D-pad support for retail windows:** flight map, PvP, Delves, item upgrades, expansion summary, renown, "choose one" pop-ups, crafting orders, transmog, dressing room, macros, calendar, Mythic+ keystone, scrapper, housing dashboard and the warband bank.
- **Drop-down menus** (Dungeon Finder type, PvP queue and more) open with Cross. The highlight moves inside the list, Cross picks and Circle closes.

## Area spells at the crosshair (retail & Forever)
- Ground spells like Blizzard, totems and traps now land **under the crosshair** instead of popping up the controller cursor. Turn the camera to aim, then press the spell again to drop it.
- **Items that place something** (campfire, toys): **Cross places, Circle cancels**, with an on-screen hint.
- Setting: *Settings > Cursor tab > Area spells aim at the crosshair*. `/pn aoe` checks it.

## Trading Post
- Full controller support, even though the Trading Post hides the rest of the screen.
- The highlight only stops on what you need: the item list, filter, scroll arrows, and Purchase / Refund / Leave.
- **Worgen & Dracthyr:** L1 / R1 switch the preview between your two forms.
- **Right stick turns your character** in the preview.

## Talents
- **Pick-one talents** now work with the controller. Cross opens a "Choose a talent" window with both choices and their tooltips, and Cross picks one. On retail, press Apply Changes as usual.
- No more stuck hover icons on pick-one talent spots.

## Also
- World and zone map dots are 3× bigger.
- The highlight stays visible in full-screen windows that hide the rest of the screen.
- Fixed Cross sending the wrong click after buying from a vendor when a pop-up appeared.

/reload after updating is enough. On retail, restart the game fully after the first install.
