PackTrack — Keep your party together and your quests in sync.
Find your friends with distance-colored arrows beside their party portraits, and follow everyone’s quest progress in a compact grid.
New in 0.6.1
- Zone button to automatically track in wow and Packtrack the quests in your zone.
New in 0.6.0
- Track several quests at once: up to 8. Auto shows your focused quest plus the quests in Blizzard’s tracker, or click Quests to pick exactly the ones you want.
- New compact layout: one line per objective, with a column for each player in class colors. Hover a line for the full objective text and who still needs it.
- Collapse quests: left-click a quest title to shrink it to one line showing each player’s progress.
- Point the arrow at any quest: right-click a quest title.
- Smaller window: a slim toolbar, and the window shrinks to fit its contents.
- New tracker options: hide when solo, hide in combat, hide objectives everyone has finished.
- Smoother syncing: far fewer addon messages, and no more “Throttled by the game” warnings.
Party arrows
- Distance arrows: green nearby, yellow midway, red far away. Adjustable range, default 1,000 yards.
- Distance and location labels: see how far away each member is, their area when they’re far off, and what they’re doing: at the bank, auction house, trainer, mailbox or flight master, crafting, trading, eating or drinking, AFK and more.
- Privacy: turn off “Share my location and activity” at any time.
Quest tracking
- Shared progress: each player’s objective counts side by side.
- Who still needs it? Objectives everyone has finished are highlighted; missing and unknown data is clearly marked, never shown as complete.
- Share: offer a shareable quest to your party from its title line.
- Sync: request fresh progress with one click.
- Flexible window: move, resize and lock it. Your settings are saved.
Navigation arrow
- Quest arrow: points toward your quest area (optional), with an adjustable hide distance.
- Corpse guidance: points back to your body while you’re a ghost (optional).
- 3D-style arrow: an optional shaded arrow style.
Party coordination (all optional)
- Rally point: share your current location for the party to follow.
- Wait for me: a party-chat button with a cooldown.
- Separation alerts: local warnings when someone wanders too far, with distance and cooldown sliders.
- Party leader guidance: point the main arrow toward the leader.
- Party announcements: welcome newcomers, announce your quest and current counts, and attempt a quest share. Off by default.
Type /packtrack for settings, or /packtrack pick to choose quests.
Requirements: each member whose quest progress you want to see must install PackTrack and have the same quest. Only you need it for the arrows. Party members on 0.5.x still sync with 0.6.0.
Beta: designed for WoW: Forever. Supports party groups with the default portrait-style party frames (no raids). Position tracking and quest updates depend on what the game allows; in-game testing is ongoing.
