Opulent Nameplates 0.5.4-alpha1
What's new
Opulent Nameplates 0.5.4-alpha1
- Adjustable opacity for secondary nameplates, with a configurable mouseover minimum and smooth target opacity transitions.
- Independent distance fading and shrinking; configure far opacity and size while selected targets keep their reading size.
- Near / 15+ yards / 35+ yards samples directly in the Gameplay preview.
- Optional target-only unit names and health percentages, with animated text release.
- Clear groups in the existing Gameplay/Appearance pages; repaired configuration punctuation.
- Preserves existing profiles and all eight themes. No additional permanent update loop or frame rebuilding.
- Verified with 71 automated tests and configuration screenshots; native combat behavior remains subject to in-game review.
Opulent Nameplates 0.5.3-alpha1
- New Placement page with live horizontal/vertical offsets for all nameplates and separate selected-target adjustments.
- Raise plates above small mobs with one click, or reset positioning independently of other settings.
- Offsets remain stable while target animations, user scale and distance scaling change the visual size.
- Private preview shows the unit anchor and fits wider offsets; existing profiles preserve their position by default.
- All eight themes and Retail/Classic/Forever adapters share the same owned-frame positioning policy. Native Blizzard host anchors, click rectangles and stacking are preserved.
70 fixtures verify signed bounds, live sliders, all themes, target interpolation, scale/distance independence, no reload and widget reuse. Native click/stacking behavior and visual clearance still need real-client review.
Opulent Nameplates 0.5.2-alpha2
- Fix Regalia continuous resource fill extending beyond its container when no class-resource points are present.
- Correct the inset width and add a separate rounded native mask for continuous power, also inherited by Runeforge.
- Existing class-resource cells, colors, native opaque power handling and animations are preserved.
69 fixtures pass, including a regression at 5% continuous energy. Retail installation verified locally.
Opulent Nameplates 0.5.2-alpha1
- New Runeforge theme: textured cracked stone, weathered bronze bevels, blue rune plaques and a sculpted golden health reservoir.
- Compact secondary frames unfold into a stone name/percentage panel on selection; independent attachments settle and rune light awakens.
- Short mechanical appearance assembly, localized damage/heal light, native target rune shimmer and a closing death state.
- Matching thin bronze cast rail, interrupt/channel/outcome states and sapphire diamond resource cells.
- Eight themes in the instant comparison preview, with shared fonts, custom colors and element controls.
- Existing saved settings, prior themes and Hextech as the default are preserved.
69 automated fixtures pass, including 20 Runeforge plates and 4,000 health events without new UI objects or idle Lua updates. Simulator captures review the actual Lua target/compact layouts, casts/resources, selection, distance and settings. Real combat, native lighting and taint behavior still need in-game review.
Opulent Nameplates 0.5.1-alpha1
- New Regalia theme: faceted champagne gold, textured emerald glass, raised dark name panel and ivory crystal indicator.
- The target crystal follows the native health fill endpoint, including smooth interpolation and opaque Retail values.
- Mechanical assembly on appearance, staged target expansion, locking attachments and reversible panel lift.
- Compact secondary rails, matching gold cast attachments and diamond class-resource cells.
- Seven themes in the instant comparison preview, with shared fonts, custom colors and element controls.
- Prism polish: visible beveled panel seams, convex glass, smoother metal endcaps and hollow frame glow.
- Existing themes, saved settings and Hextech as the installation default are preserved.
68 automated fixtures pass, including 20 Regalia plates and 4,000 health events with no new UI objects or idle Lua updater. Simulator visual review covers assembly, casts/resources, compact plates and the theme selector. Retail combat and native crystal movement still need in-game confirmation.
Opulent Nameplates 0.5.0-alpha1
- New Prism theme: sculpted gold capsules, prismatic glass, continuous segmented health and a softly shaded name backdrop.
- Narrow non-target plates open smoothly on selection; percentage capsule, native light traces and restrained target radiance.
- Matching thin cast rail, spell text, interrupt/channel states and compact class-resource cells.
- Compare all six themes immediately in the private live preview, including health, target and cast playback, without applying or reloading.
- Searchable LibSharedMedia font selection in Appearance, with font samples and immediate preview across all six themes.
- Font-provider fallback, late registration, name remeasurement and safe aura-counter restoration.
- Existing themes, saved settings, colors and Hextech as the installation default are preserved.

- Class resources become small inset gems, with matching gain/spend light.
- Native target radiance, mirrored acquisition tracers, boundary damage/heal flashes and a short death contraction.
- Full/Reduced/Off motion, distance, threat, friendly colors, visibility controls and custom per-theme colors are supported.
- Hextech remains the installation default. Select Auric in Themes or with /op theme auric.
