One Strange Build (OSB) is a World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade addon built around one simple idea:

What happens when you stop building your character the way everyone tells you to?

OSB is a collection of unconventional, off-meta character builds designed to challenge traditional class roles, stat priorities, talent paths, and gearing choices.

These aren't just theorycrafts sitting on a website.

We actually play them.

🧪 What Is One Strange Build?

Every class has a "normal" way to be played.

OSB asks:

What if we didn't do that?

What happens if a Paladin stacks Agility?

What happens if a Warrior focuses on Spirit?

What happens if a Shaman becomes a true tank?

What happens when a Mage takes an unusual combination of Arcane and Fire talents?

Some builds might be surprisingly strong.

Some might be hilariously bad.

And some might become something nobody expected.

That's the point.

We test them in-game.

OSB is designed around the leveling experience.

As you gain a level, the addon tells you what talent to take next according to your selected build.

That means an unconventional level-70 build isn't just something you respec into at the end.

You can actually play the strange build from the beginning.

🧠 Theorycraft Meets Reality

OSB is part theorycrafting experiment and part gameplay challenge.

The real test isn't:

"Does this look good on a talent calculator?"

The real test is:

"Can I actually play this character?"

Every build is an experiment.

We look at:

• Damage

• Survivability

• Resource management

• Leveling speed

• Gear availability

• Combat feel

• Strengths

• Weaknesses

• Unexpected interactions

Sometimes the numbers tell the story.

Sometimes gameplay does.

And sometimes the strangest build turns out to be the most fun.
